Other: Good cheap torch, great as an easy Xmas/Hannukah/whatever present.

Pros: Nice brightness for a AA light with a generic LED. Decent runtime. Bright anodized color.

Cons: Not super bright. The lanyard is big and heavy - I prefer a simpler lanyard.

Other: Great light for the price. Makes a great gift or utility light.

Cons: not much brighter than tradicional candle, good if U want go to bathroom without turning on main room lights

Pros: its fairly cheap. seems to be built fairly solid, which is a plus. uses a common primary, which can be good in a pinch. o-rings seem to be of decent quality.

Cons: not very bright. the clicky can be hard to operate, which also doesnt allow it to tailstand. the threads could use some lube as well.

Other: try it out. it may be enough light for the price. if not, its not biggie to give it away.

Pros: The Lamp is cheap. Build quality is ok for this price.
Since this lamp is not bright, i would recommend to use it in Bedroom for reading or to search something in your car in the evening.
The color's look fine. I got 9 blue ones. But i found a silver and a red one in my chipment. I must say, the colors looks fine. Maybe you should buy more than one,

Cons: If you want to have a bright lamp, dont buy this one.
This lamp is not that bright. The Lamp consumes about 400mA @ 1.5V. That's 0,6W.

Other: Overall i like the lamp. It feels somehow solid and the rubber Button seems to have a good build quality.

Pros: Well not so expensive if check it´s cool outfit but..

Cons: Light is very weak, about the same as 10mm focused led and thatkind keychains can get with $0,75.
Also the body was allready a bit scrached when it arrived.

Other: Can be used as a keychan, not to big for that atleast not for me.
But I buy this for my father and good, because I don´t have any use for this size lamp with that small amount of light.
I have 10mm focused led keychains and those are much better than this one, same power but much smaller size.

Pros: this was the second light i bought from Dx back in feb of 08. i couldn't believe the price.
it has a very nice blue anodized finish. the build quality is pretty good, all the threads felt good and the body feels solid. the switch is a decent reverse clicky that feels sturdy.
it's easy to use, push the button.
runs on one aa. small enough to be an edc light.
i think it has a runtime of something like 8 years... i don't really know, but it runs quite a while on one battery.

Cons: no where near 5 watts. not even 1/2 a watt. the keychain lanyard is the first thing to go, it isn't very strong. it has a quick release buckle on it that can comes apart pretty easily. i lost mine one day because the buckle came undone. (i guess that's my clumbsy ass fault, but i found it later)
it can be swapped out easily with another lanyard.(duh)
the "pill" is glued into the head/bezel making it a real pain to get apart. it looks like a good host for a mod if you can get it apart. the switch feels strong, but it's just pressed in the tail section. the switch is not threaded, but the tail section is threaded all the way.
it's just not very bright at all.
i don't know why the factory put such nice anodizing on a decently designed light body, then filled it full of junk parts.

Other: they're ...ok.. if you don't need a real bright light. the price is rediculously cheap, so buy a bunch if you buy any. even with it's low performance people still want them 'cause they look so cool.
make good gifts for "normal people that aren't flashlight crazy" !!!
no offense intended, i am "flashlight crazy" and still like this light because it's BLUE !!!!.

Cons: This light was not what I expected, and I did not expect a very bright light. I ordered three and all three have similar output. Unfortunately the output is only about 2-4 times that of one of the 2x2016 keychain lights. I ordered these hoping they would be sufficiently bright to give as gifts for electronics/computer inspection. They only barely fill this role.

Other: Probably only usefull for finding your way around the house at night or in a very dark environment. Will not seem that bright or useful with much ambient lighting. Again, of three I have, they all are only about 2-4 times as bright as one of the button cell keychain lights on DX. Build quality is OK for the price, but the lack of output is disappointing.

Pros: Small, light, colourful light. Practical to keep in your pocket or bag. This is a simple easy to use light to carry around. I bought this for my girlfriend to keep in her handbag. The strap and clip make it versatile.

Cons: Not very powerful but this is normal for a light like this. The strap may be a little clumsy with the clip but once you use it a couple of times it gets really easy to use.

Other: A good, simple, light. Useful to carry around when looking for something in your bag, in the car, at the cinema, on the floor etc...
