Pros: Got a nice shape, good handle and overall I definitely recommend it

Other: I use it all the time. For the heck of it I used a sharpening steel - I damaged the steel! I think this will stay as my go-to knife in the kitchen for quite a while. I keep my ceramic knives in a block, they shouldn't be in a drawer banging into other stuff. I think its the best overall knife I'm gonna use on a daily basis. My other one seems delicate compared to this workhorse of a knife. Get it, its a hell of a deal!!

Pros: Totally impressed by this blade and its shorter cousin sku 28782 Looks slick, cuts quick. My mom tried cutting through a lemon with this one. At first she thought it was a dull blade as it wouldn't go through... that was when she broke through the little bit of stem that had been left attached to the lemon and went clean through the lemon like it was butter. (cliche I know, but that's what it's like) Then she turned and gave me a "wow" look.

Cons: You have to be more careful with this knife than your usual metal knife. Ceramic is very hard and very hard means very brittle The packaging it comes in was destroyed by a thousand rampaging boars. The knife itself and the edge was in perfect condition, but the package was two-dimensional, even in DX's bubble mailer.

Other: I bought mine because I can't get the materials I need locally to sharpen my metal knives and I'm willing to be extra careful to make sure this knife is never dropped in the sink and never cuts anything hard. If you're willing to do that too it is a very sharp knife — possibly will last for life. Maybe for your wife?

Pros: Yeah, it's a knife - but maybe the coolest knife I ever owned.

The handle has a nice grip-coating to it, the handle's is also cool.
The blade looks like some freakish kind of metal - all dark and glossy - but it's ceramics.
Has the usual ceramics-knife cut: Not as sharp as a razor, since it would have to be too thin at the edge. But don't be fooled: it is VERY sharp!
Quality looks identical to more expensive knifes, get one now!

Cons: OK everyone lnows not to drop it on cement or try to pry open a jar with it, but I have dropped it a few times and it survived: ,no chips even.

Other: Great buy blade looks nice in black. Has a Satin Finish on the blade.

Pros: Very sharp and light, cuts everything nicely. Stay's sharp for a long time. Cheap and good kitchen knife, I will most likely buy another and I would recommend this to friends.

Cons: This ceramic knife is very brittle, one of my housemates managed to break the tip and a piece close to the tip. No idea what he was doing, maybe hacking some food. So you have to be careful with the knife, but you shouldnt use the knife as a screw driver or opener anyways.

Other: Very good buy if you are careful with your knife. Comes very sharp, but ceramic is brittle and can break easily. This knife is easy to clean and you wont be dissapointed. I have another knife from DX, it is sturdier. It is also a ceramic knife, but I think with more metal mix. Knife makers have to put metal in the ceramics knives so they can be detected by metal detectors for example.

Pros: Best knife I've used. To cut the meat is perfect. The grinding gets to be dangerous so well done. Lightweight, comfortable and firm grip, giving precision in the use, easy to wash, hygienic.

Cons: Nothing to report against, but because it is good to note that ceramic alamine is fragile to impacts, so the use must be taken not to drop cudado and I believe it is inappropriate to use to break bones. When someone else is using, advise caution in use.

Other: excellent purchase. you will not regret it.

Pros: very sharp looks amazing with its shiny metal look that is hard to see on the pictures shown here very good grip and really nice hilt design cut very thin slices of fruits and vegetables very clean and a splash of water would wash it clean amazing price great for gift high recommend it

Cons: it´s made of ceramic although is very hard (the only thing suppose to be harder is the diamond) can break easily if dont follow the instructions in fact my came with its tip inserted on its box and was chiped but dx is great and arranged a refund

Pros: This is pretty nice knife. It really feels good when you are holding it and it don't feels cheap at all. The handle has a nice soft touch coating. The blade looks professionally sharpened.

Cons: No cons at all. Maybe the shape of the blade is little strange for me but I presume that Asian kitchen uses this type of knives.

Other: Solid knife worth the price.

Pros: *Cheap *very sharp *Looks cool *comfortable to cut with This knife looks so cool, i unpacked it with a bunch of friends in the room, and they all went :"WoooooooW" when i opened the package... The black keramic looks like some kind of future material, all brushed perfectly and shiny. And everybody were amazed when i told them for how much i got it.

Cons: You can't keep it with your regular metal knives and after use you cant just throw it in the sink with all the dishes, because it will chip and become blunt with time... Other than that it stays sharp for a very very long time (know that because i also own a white one for a long time)

Pros: It is ceramic, the fruits do not dark, there is no "metallic taste", blah-blah-blah. Also it has some real pros, but the cons are much more important.

Cons: The knife appeared to be not as sharp as I expected. It is not sharp at all. I understand it can be a bad copy, another one could be better, but mine is almost useless. I bought an SKU #28960 and it is much better, I use it as the main kitchen knife.

Other: A lottery - some are sharp, some aren't. Maybe one should buy a few to choose the sharpest one.

Other: It is very sharp and beautiful with a good size!!! Very very cheap if compared with a local store (10x more expensive in Brazil)... The shipping to brazil is very slow... more than 40 days to arrive I will buy others ceramic knifes at dealextreme...
