Pros: A great 18650 battery holder. Protected cells are a bit of a squeeze, but they fit just fine. Its black plastic & its got power leads coming from it. What else can I say! -jack is fine

Cons: None, its perfect at holding 2 x 18650 batteries. Which is a good thing as its an 18650 battery holder.

Other: Good product. If you want a battery holder to hold 2 x 18650 batteries you've found one right here that will satisfy your want. Also working with other battery not only for one that

Pros: The material product is of good quality. The batteries can be mounted in the holder without any problems. The holder has the battery polarity indication. The connector is of good quality and can be assembled entirely in arduino. The red and black wires indicate the output polarity.

Cons: I do not have cons.

Other: If you need to power your arduino, then buy this product and batteries Soshine.v Batteries Soshine I bought are very good.

Pros: - Light weight - Every component in the product is definitely needed, no unnecessary components - Seems that the build quality is very good, durable. - Easy to use, markings on the product making it hard to misuse

Cons: - Depending on the project, the wire can be short - For outdoor projects one should fix something to cover the product with

Other: You get what you buy and will be happy with it! If you need a easy way to power your Arduino this is it, if not you can always cut the wire and connect it how ever you want it

Pros: The price is great compare to what i can find in a store. It's easy to use, you just have to connect it to your arduino to power it, so you don't have to connect it to your to use it.

Cons: This is the first time that i'm disapointed with a dx product. The built quality is not very great, i had some trouble to connect my batteries because there was a gap between the batteries and the connector so i had to put some metal to fill the gap.

Other: buy it if you know how to fix this but don't buy it if you want something with a good built quality

Pros: This is the best mobile energy method to works with Arduino. It's work for a long period of time, best than 9v batteries and can be used with rechargeable batteries (I recommend LSD batteries, like this SKU: 144823).

Cons: The wires are very weak and don't have any protection. It's only a pair of tiny wires. But is easy to change it.

Other: Very good module. A "must" have Arduino power supply.

  • Inexpensive Battery Holder

    posted by krabat23 on 15:55:29 G11T 17/11/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The holder comes with an power jack suitable for my arduino. So its perfect for powering my DIY projects. Quality of wiring is good. One great aspect of using this holder, is the opportunity to short cut by using simple wires. So you don't need to use 6 batteries every time. Or you can add an additional power source like an simple solar panel.

Cons: The battery casing is a bit to tight. So the batteries won't be pushed by the springs. I have to push them manually or there will be no electrical contact.

Other: Nice and flexible battery holder.

  • Give power to your stand alone arduino project

posted by gozaki on 06:21:14 G11T 24/11/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: This batteries holder is cheap but very usefull, it allows you to give some power to your arduino project which have to stand alone far from any energy source. Holes are foreseen to fix it. No problem to use it with rechargeable batteries.

Cons: Wires seems to be fragile but you have full access to soldering points if you have to fix a problem at this level. ( power jack can be unscrewed)

Other: Easy to use ... Fiable and perfect to supply your stand alone projects (Arduino or not ...)

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Its very easy to plug in the cells or batteries and have 2 hole for screws to hold it. The black cover behind the jack are screwed what is good for easily fix or expand the cables, the cables are weld. I didn't find any rust.

Cons: The quality isn't the best, but enough for the price.

Other: This isn't only for arduino, but everything that needs power and have the same jack connection. Its possible to have 7.2V or 9V, it depends which batteries are using (rechargeable or not).

posted by carlesj on 06:09:57 G12T 11/12/2012 certificated customer

Pros: It's what you see, nothing hidden, very simple as I expected, no problem. Materials strong enough. Batteries fits its place and don't move.

Cons: No cons, all is on its place

Other: I won't hesitate buying it if I'll need another, it's worth the money I paid for it. I use it to feed an arduino duemilanova and they make a good couple.

  • Justo lo que necesitaba.

posted by cuzcatleco on 09:13:11 G12T 26/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
