60mm R.P.M. Tachometer (0~8K RPM/DC 12V)

Pros: Very good value for money and around one third of the local ones available.also a very neat little unit that can be fitted anywhere you want to fit it.

Cons: Only thing that I was dissapointed with was it is not easy for non technical people or people who can't read Chinese because the wiring instructions are very poor and they don't say where to connect the wires and also colours are different on the vague instruction sheet to whats on the tacho. mine has got red, black, green wires and the instruction say red , black and white but there are no white wires on it . The only ones that are easy to sort out are the two for the internal light.

Other: very good value and an easy to read face with a back light.Would reccommend this product.

Pros: Very good price. Have small dimensions, fits perfect and looks good on the front panel.

Cons: Lighting must be always on, otherwise can't see anything because the glass is too dark. Not easy to connect, each car has different ways.

Other: Especialy mine makes low jarring metallic sound form inside when driving. May be must dismantled it to find waht cause that. But for now I am satisfied - it works.

Pros: This tachometer has a beautiful design and fits easylly over the dashboard. Lighting is good, visualization and size also. Mounting it is very easy as also are the connections.

Cons: It seems to me that the swinging of the RPM indicator is to slow, almost like if it is lazy to move itself. I´m also not so sure if it´s correctly calibrated. I´m using the second one I received from DX, first presented defect after some days of use. Some component must have burnt itself out because indicator goes to end of scale as soon as the device is energized.

Other: Think twice if the low price of the item compensates its (low) quality. Mine n ow is more like a decoration part than anything usefull. I will need to check its adjustment (potentiometers behind the 4,6,8 label) to be sure it´s really usefull and if it will work for more than a week...

Pros: Good price, here the cheapest one is over Cheap, nice mask and inner light, easy to see even in a sunny day. I really like the way it looks over my car's instrument panel.

Cons: In the DX web page they do not provide much info about the product, in my case my car has no one bu two coils (FIAT UNO FIRE 2007) and when I went to the workshop for installation there was a headache for the technician who, finally has to open the Tachometer and made little internal changes in order to make it works with only one of the coils. Obviously, that work was an expensive cost that had has to be prevented if the info about the coil or the computer were at the tech description at the web page. Also, the external case is a little greater than the tachometer and you have to use glue or a piece of cartoon to fix it (a screw will be better).

Other: It eventually cost more than to buy locally because of the installation cost but I don't regret, is very nice and I like the final result.

Pros: I purchased this gauge for a diesel engine, but is not ready for it. I saw in the little instruction manual that the green wire connects to the negative that goes to the ignition coil spark. As excited with a pulsed signal, I made a test with a hall sensor and four magnets. I put it in a drill and the result was as I expected. Therefore, put four magnets and the sensor in the engine and the operation is correct. For the price it is I think a great purchase. The hall sensor I fed the battery positive and the return to green wire gauge

Cons: Diesel fuel preparation is complex but can be effected. I think the gauge is very bright. It could be a crystal clear day and be illuminated by night lighting of the vehicle
