  • Very bright, not hot. Price quite high.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Very bright for a 6W. Think may be more than 390LM. As bright as a 13W CFL. Feels warm after 10min usage but not hot. Hence, electric energy not wasted on heat. Picture shows a dim dull light but actual is much brighter.

    Cons: Opened up the unit and realised its made up of a thick, circular, defused plastic and a LED light strip going around its circumference. This is fine as it produced quite a bright light. But, the back of the strip light barely touched the metal heat sink. This may result in the heat from the LEDs unable to spread to the heat sink.

    Other: Bright light. Yet to run it for long periods.
