7.0" TFT LCD Linux E-Book Reader Music/Video Media Player w/ WiFi/SD - Black (ARM9 400MHz/4GB)

Pros: Magnificent e-book! From using in a current of month only positive emotions. I use the book till 3-4 o'clock in a current of day. Corner of the review and illumination top-level. The interface and controls is very well thought over. Excellent localisation in Russian language - of an error are absent.

Cons: Has not found any!

Other: I would like to see a little more smaller price. As it would would be desirable that the manufacturer supported this device new functions. I recommend to all! A magnificent product!

Pros: Very good e-book reader. I use it more than a month and do not regret that I have bought it I read over 30 books and I can say I am completely satisfied with it. Pros: I needed a device for reading books in various formats and I get it!
It's good quality build!
Too easy to use!
Can adjust the backlight (bright) to your eyes (I'm using the lowest).
The leather pouch is good to use it to protect "the book" against damages.
All claimed formats supported.
Not bad for video and music (IMHO!)

Cons: Its hard to use to view a big sized PDF book or magazines with many color pictures and photos!
No other cons for me.

Other: Its very good item for its price!
Its an identic clone of real "the book", this one made by Hivision!
You get what you pay!

Pros: Quite cheap (in compare with similar books in Russia).
Good functionality. Good set of accessories.

Cons: This device has a bit strange position sensor - it works not with any books. Sometimes book works very slow. Fake information on the box (where is preinstalled books?!). A bit unconvinient protective case, I have to extract book from it for comfort reading.

Other: In general, I satisfied. This device worth the price.

Pros: This product is very cool. It is cheaper than other ebooks that they don´t have wifi Wifi works fine. To read books is good, excelent To check email is good too. SD works fine. Can play MP3 Doc Files. When the batteries are dead we can see "the final coutdown" This ebook will turn off in 9,8,7 ... :)

Cons: I don´t find anything. Maybe it can´t reproduce divx files. i can see some pictures. For example. high resolution

Other: I´m happy with my ebook. i read all the time. My girlfriend hate me ; Next week i´m going to upload some pictures and a video tuto!!

Pros: The device enables passive interaction with media of many differing formats barring web animations (flash). It arrived with a manual and free books already loaded. The device is actually the "Augen" branded "The Book". You can find reviews on the web, some good, some not so good. The pixel depth is amazing. I'm still astounded at how tiny I can make the text in a readable size. ...Also, the battery charge lasts a very agreeable period of time. ~10 hours is a good stretch. I've actually found it pretty useful and recognizable on Calibre so I can interact with it, with ease.

Cons: It has a limited RAM size which is the only real mitigator in an otherwise good e-reader. As such it's prone to freezing up requiring a reset. But after limited use, you can figure out what causes this and avoid it (large pdf files being the primary cause for me). Also the "Prev Page" doesn't instill me with much confidence, it's a bit louder than the other buttons when I click it.

Other: It's actually a good buy if you're not a hipster. Morris from The IT Crowd would find it useful. Not for you if like the idea of an iPad or Honeycomb... to read books.

Pros: It read text pdf well and you can read portrait or landscape.
Brightness can be adjusted so that it suits the lighting around you.
Wifi works and you can browse the net.
Audio player is basic and it works.
Memory card slot working(tried a 4gb SDHC)
It charges allright.
There is 3.5 mm optional connection to connect earphones...
The usb is present to transfer files to the device(and vice-versa)
It play avi really well(I know that it will surely play 800x480 avis , tested it myself and it looks great).
The pouch is cool and can be put in such a way that you can put in on a table and watch something without holding it in your hands.

Cons: The G-sensor does not work with pdf but does work with doc. It is problematic as it often switch orientation to the opposite of what you want.
I've had problems to play mkv (regular ones) ; the audio plays but the video has many bars of colours on it.
It does not have flash so you cannot view video form sites such as youtube.
Pdf with images (mangas and comic) work rather slowly and are prone to freezing requiring a reset(it has always reset successfully)
You cannot make a pdf your favourite.
Sound is low in amplitude and quality is ok(better use earphones)
Requires SD card for saving txt created with notepad.
Keys are a bit close but it is manageable to type.
When you stop a video, and reenter it you can resume playback but there is a slight desynchronisation of audio and video(about 0.7 seconds)

Other: I would recommend it to anyone at this price as it plays avis very well and functions well as a text e-book. But if you want to use more complex functions on the internet (chat,view flash videos) this will not serve your purpose.
