Pros: -It is very, very sharp. -The build quality seems very good. -It's quite lightweight so it's very good for your wrist and arm. -The black colour is very attractive and makes it very beautiful as a gift for example. -You can get a very good grip of the handle. Even if your hand is wet you won't lose the grip. -The price is very awesome. These can cost 3x or 4x more if you buy from somewhere else.

Cons: -The usual cons of ceramic knives (you shouldn't cut bone, frozen food or any other hard surfaces or you else the blade may get chipped) -The package took time to open (because it was packaged so carefully, but I'm not sure whether this is con or pro)

Other: I like this product very much. It's definitely one of the best products I've ordered from DealExtreme. If you have doubts about the quality of this knife, I can assure you that your doubts are pointless. It's a top quality knife (I've tested other ceramic knives too) with very low price. Buy one ... buy two! You won't regret it!

Cons: none okay maybe 2. it feels like it would break cutting a piece of paper, and its almost too pretty to be used. other than that it pretty much perfect

Pros: Very Good Knife, it works very well! It comes with a good protector box. I think that this knife would more beautyer in a white collor. It could be more cheaper. I think that everyone that buy this prduct will be satisfacted.

Cons: Could be more than one collor to choose.Its oly black, if has more than 2 collors would be excelent because oly one collor its very worse because you dont have any one way to choise another collor just black one.

Pros: This is a really beautiful piece of workmanship. It's impressive in size, sharpness, look, and feel.

Cons: As with all ceramic knives, you must be careful to use them only for cutting, and then properly. They can break if misused or dropped. Otherwise, no complaints. For this price, you can't find a ceramic knife that has this quality.

Pros: DX sent the knife well-packaged: not only was it stll in its original packaging, the DX staff actually wrapped an extra layer of bubble foam around it. The knife itself looks really good; black with a nice matte black handle. It fits in my hand perfectly and feels fairly balanced. Chopping stuff like vegetables works OK...

Cons: ...but the knife is not very sharp, so slicing stuff like meat isn't too easy. I may be a bit spoiled by the other knifes I have here (J. A. Henckels stuff) but they are fairly old, need to be re-sharpened, and still manage to be sharper than this brand new knife.

Other: It's OK to have one to do some chopping, but it's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, if you excuse the pun.

Pros: Very good looking knife!!! It cuts meat and vegetables very easy and Very sharp when you compare it to standard steel knife.
Its the best knife you will find for this price.
This knife will last sharp for years if you follow the instructions;

Cons: The cutting edge seems very fragile but its not made to cut bones or iced food so its ok.
I would be nice a better box but the one it comes in is ok.

- relatively low weight
- tough blade material, supposedly keeping sharp for long time
- all black "cool" look
- easy cleaning from most materials

Cons: - blade is ground sharp over the whole length, yielding a sharp edge on the side of the handle. Blunted and rounded last centimeter handle-side may have increased handling safety.
- a few ingredients tend to stick to the knife, such as soft or melted cheese, more than they do with steel knifes

Other: A knife very suited as present as long as home markets aren't swamped with comparable knives. The broad blade is suited for fine-cutting and subsequent transferral gathering through loading dissected materials onto the blade while it's being held horizontally.

Pros: It is looks good being black, I have used a white ceramic knife and it is"stained".
The black one will still look good after prolonged use. That is the reason that I got the black one. The other reason is that it looks cool.
It is sharp and seems to be better than the white one I have had for a year.
I used it to cut onions and confirm that like my older knife will not course me to tear.

Cons: Like all ceramic knifes, it is quite delicate, do not drop your knife.
I have managed to break the tip of my old ceramic knife. But it is still usable.
The packaging is simple cardboard with plastic cover. I have thrown it away. They should include an plastic box so I can keep my knife in it.

Other: It's about 6 time cheaper than the branded one I bought locally.
So buy it you won't regret.

Pros: Since hobby is cooking, I know the value of a very sharp blade. They are not only easier to use, but safer as well. I have steel slicing knife that I bought over 20 years ago that I still have, sharpen about once a year, and use a steel on it after every use. I have always wanted a large ceramic chef's blade but they were always out of my price range. Since I have received this one, I've used it to dice onions, slice tomatoes (which I could only do well with my slicing knife after a good going over with a steel

Cons: As with all ceramic knives are prone to breakage if mistreated, but then again, everyone in my home has been warned not to mistreat my good steel knives either. After use I always go over them with a steel a PUT THEM IN MY BLOCK COMPLETELY DRY ! Okay, I'm a bit anal.

Other: I like the black color (it doesn't stain), looks a little Darth Vader-ish (a pllus with me) Cuts like a 7 inch long Gillette stainless steel razor., and with careful use should last a while. I'm buying more, and other sizes as well.
