7-Port USB 2.0 Hub with External Power Source (110~240V AC Adapter)

Pros: Works as promised: powered USB2.0 hub. I am satisfied with its operation and use this hub routinely.The power supply is 1 amper - ample for external USB HDD, so you do not have to use double USB plug.I plug into it my mouse, USB camera, keyborad and external HDD. I certainly recommend buying this USB hub.

Cons: The plastic enclsure tends to come apart when you try to plug a USB cable. I reinforced it with cellotape and now it remains solid. The inner work seems to be basic, but I can't expect it to be better.

Other: I certainly recommend buying this USB hub. It is worth the money I paid for it.

Pros: - Good thing to have if you need toplug many USB devices into your PC or laptop. - It has it's own power supply which comes handy with USB HDDs or even USB DVD recorders. - It's small, looks great and you get little folder so it stands on your table. - USB 2.0 capable. Wouldn't even mention it, but some of other users reported, that they got USB 1.1 device

Cons: - Extremely bright blue LED diode. Few of these and you can light up your room :) - It acts strange from time to time -> you have to plug it out from your computer and reinsert it to make it work again. That happened like 5 times in one month. - USB cable that was included didn't work. When I replaced it, Hub started to work, but it still has glitches, mentioned above

Other: It's always good to have one of these, because not all USB ports are capable of supplying 500mV and that's a must for almost all external 2,5" USB HDDs. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this device, it could be better tho.

Pros: Excellent build quality, no loose parts or scratched finish.
Powered ports, it will run practically EVERYTHING from thumb drives to webcams and external hard drives.
Comes with a power adapter which is an added bonus as some units come with an "optional" power adapter.

Cons: I can't say its cheap although similar 7-Port powered hubs are at least twice as expensive here in Israel.

Other: Excellent product if you need more USB plugs.

I bought it to be used as a stand alone USB charger for devices that use USB/mini USB adapters. For example, right now I have it charging my iPod shuffle, DX iPod shuffle, HTC Hero phone, and some other devices :)

Cons: My one came with the wrong adapter plug for the self powered power adapter, so it was useless. Luckily, I'm using the USB input with a power plug that has a USB cable output, this is where it lost 5 stars.

Other: If you get the right power adapter, then this is a very good product for the price. Another fine product from DX.

Pros: USB ports are placed well and easy to access, Works exactly as description states. Great Value for the Price. I will recommend to others

Cons: Only has US/Japan Power adapter, although easily fixed with a converter (Purchased for $1.50AUS)

Other: I have paid $69 for a brand name unit that does the exactly same job. No difference in speed or function. Great unit, and extremely well priced.

Pros: This USB hub for 7 usb connection work well. I got it just forone week, but haven't discovered any flaws yet. Works also without the power adapter too. Has an handy stand. Works perfectly with 7 device at once.

Cons: The cable between the USB-hub and computer is very short. the USB-hub is very light, so the USB-hub falls fast. Only has US/Japan Power adapter, although easily fixed with a converter.

Other: Nice USB hus for a reasonable price.

Pros: Very good product, of good quality, very easy to use. The transformer is of very good quality and its 2amp. Very pretty and usefull the support for the hub. Nice presentation.

Cons: I had liked USB connector more longer.

Other: I bought it for a connection that I do not do, I expect to find usefulness soon. If you need a hub, and don´t matter the speed, buy it.

Pros: The hub electronics are neatly packaged in a black plastic casing. Also shipped is a plastic “foot” in which the USB hub can sit upright.

Cons: The hub that I got reports "USB 2.0 hub" in its USB identification string, BUT it is NOT a USB 2.0 device. It is a USB 1.1 device, making it very slow and only suitable to connect mice and keyboards. I've tried it on various laptops, computer and a Raspberry Pi, but none of them handles the hub as a high speed hub. Also, when you connect the power to the hub, the power leaks to the USB input port, which is definitely NOT supposed to happen. Using the hub may damage your computer if you connect it because of this.

Other: Other customers have reported that they did get a USB 2.0 hub that is actually high speed. I did not: mine is a USB 1.1 full speed hub. Do not buy this device if you require a USB 2.0 hub, because you cannot be certain that you will get one.
