7" Touch Screen LCD Windows CE NET 6.0 GPS Navigator with DVB-T/AV/Europe Maps (4GB)

Pros: - Several functions: GPS, AV-in, TV, FM transmitter, Win CE... - Screen size and resolution: very GOOD! - GPS gets a signal very quickly. - All the cables plug on the right side of the unit: that's a pro on a left-hand drive car, I do not have any cables pointing towards me when I drive. - The battery is very powerful (10% for 50 minutes Navitel-gps work). - It has a shortcut to the WinCE operating system. - 4GB internal Memory > 2GB for use)

Cons: - TV does not work in my region (Russia) - Cannot add more shortcuts to the main menu (in case you use more than one Navigation software) (But it is no actual into WinCE mode) - On sunny day you can hardly see anything on the screen - Manual and pack from other model GPS - Is absent firmware in an easy approach - It is impossible to install compatible software without addition system software

Other: A great product for a small price, recommended if you want to use the screen as monitor for AV or rearview camera.

Pros: - You can freely install ANY GPS software (based on WinCE) - the best feature on this device!!!
- Build quality is pretty nice
- Good battery life (especially for this screen size)
- Big screen & high resolution
- RAM is true - 128MB

Cons: - Screen is not bright enough in a sunny days
- CPU passes away on 3d graphics @ 800x480 (+ lots of POIs activated), also it is hard or impossible to play movies with high bitstream, or play complicated flash games or other Win Mobile apps
- DVB-T is only working with MPEG-2, for MPEG-4 only sound will be played. Here in Bulgaria I managed to get one channel and it didn't work well (in a good radio range the picture was like 10fps).
- WinCE 6.0 embedded is locked for control panel and properties

Other: CPU is let's say s.th. like 500-533MHz
The touch surface is ok (resistive one), the screen is very good, but maybe not bright enough... Pay attention -this device is too greedy - it needs 2Ampers @ 5Volts for charging, which is 4 times higher than ordinary USB
standard, use original power supply unit or similar.
FM radio transmitting fails if the device is working on it's internal battery I am not sure why - big consumption
or missing antenna for the purpose. The quality of emission is like an ordinary car MP3 FM transmitter.

Pros: Does exactly what it says. All features work. I installed another GPS system on the Micro SD and it worked the first time, like a charm. Preinstalled software and shipped hardware works as advertised. Touch screen interface is responsive, processor is fast enough, memory is sufficient. The ability to install and run programs on the Micro SD card is great.

Cons: Slighty bad build quality on the display cover plastic.

Other: If you know what you are doing, this is a great device. If not it is too, just dont istall anything new and dont mess with it. Device is fine out of the box.

Build quality is good
It comes with IGO8 but you can install any Navigation available for Windows CE
Digital TV works perfect in my country (The Netherlands)
You can get in to Windows CE and install anything
It accepts 16GB SanDisk Micro SDHC
Music and Movie player works good
FM transmitter works good no weird noises, it has to be connected on power for this feature.
You don’t need to be in Windows to start your another navigation application:
You can change the startup logo in the pre-installed application
You also can change the installation path of the navigation in the pre-installed application
GPS antenna is fast and connects to more satellites than my other Navigation systems.
I installed IGO Primo since it has better resolution than IGO8 and the picture is a lot sharper now.

Cons: A video cable is not included.
When you remove the device from car holder you have to be careful sometimes housing snaps out at the top, but its not so big issue if you know how to remove it.
USB to PC cable is like 0.5m and its too short.
You need UK to EU power adapter.

Other: I really love the device, its great value for this price and it works very well, to be able change the navigation and startup logo is perfect, I would recommend this device to anyone, if you need a navigation system with big screen don’t look further, this is the one you need.

Pros: just great product. i bought it for my father and he's thrilled. in isreal a product like that can get up to an 500 $. for my surprise, it had the option for hebrew setup already installed in win ce, in it when it came. and also on the Igo 8 there was an hebow option. all I had to do is download a hebrow instruction file (the guy how guide Navigates) and an updated map for israel and I was ready to go.

Cons: non what so ever

Other: for this price it's a steal. you got to have it.

Pros: Navigator very much! The large screen, capacious battery, good performance. In the installed IGO8 fit any of the available cards. If a new program utranovit navigation - for example, its application, the slowing down is not seen.

Cons: Weak attachment to the car. Observed variations in the mounting bracket. The charger is not suitable for Europe. Car charger cable at low temperatures hardens and can break down. Flimsy stylus. Poor packing box and instructions are not from this device. On this very much want to know more information on this device to identify it!

Other: Navigator I liked and I hope it will work well on long journeys by car!

Pros: Very nice machine, works straight out of the box, iGO8 is a little old but you can easily put in new maps and poi's. I managed to get iGO primo 1.2 working fine with all sorts of skins, will try to get more navigation programms on it, like tomtom etc. Tv works ok here in the french countryside, video is stuttering a bit.

Cons: As mentioned before, the brightness of the screen in full sunlight, but a tomtom has the same problem... Pity it doesn't read epub files.

Other: A wonderfull machine that does what it says, price/quality: great!! Can recommend it to everyone :-)

Pros: all software works as may be expected. succesfully installed igo primo, ozi explorer and many other useful programs without much problems. great for watching tv in netherlands, germany and austria. standard acces to wince desktop. when supplied with a video signal on the lower jack input automatically switches to this signal

Cons: net power supply broke down after a month. battery is only 2500 mAh (i opened up the device), device is power hungry, battery doesn't last long (1 or two hours depending on what you do with it.). brightness of the screen isn't enough when used in (bright)daylight, the brighter the harder to see anything on the screen.

Other: if you're looking for a great navigation device for your car, this could be it if you're looking for a wince device and like to tinker a bit with it this is also great

Pros: Just great!
Has a big bright screen, touch sensitive is good too.
Processor and device overall is fast enough.
You can put any navication software you want in it as long as it's made for Win CE.
GPS picks up satelites fast enough and it doesn't lose connection even at areas where's lots of high buildings all around.
The device doesn't seem fragile and I like the build quality good, even the windshield mound feels pretty strong.
FM transimitter works fine too and it's really usefull since the device transmits all it's audio trough it when it's activated. You can listen to your music from TF card while listening to GPS instructions.
Probably best GPS device you can get at this price.

Cons: DTV didn't pick up any channels here in finland because they broadcast everything in mpg4 (I quess?)
Windows CE is pretty much locked up
I couldn't find any other cons :)

Other: Buy it, you won't regret! Forget about expensive pranded ones at your local electronics store, this is as good as them if not better!

Pros: Very good machine that does exactly what it says, as soon as you turn it on the gps works, it comes with older maps and iGO 8.3 but you can easily upgrade them. Imanaged to get iGO primo 1.2 working perfectly on it even with the latetst europe maps and various skins.
Can get Garmin xt to work bur tomtom has a recurrant memory problem as most of the windows CE6.0 machines have.
DVB-T is working ok you need a strong signal, the video player, soso and a pity it doesn't read e-pub format.

Cons: The only con i can think of is that this windows CE6.0 is very closed up, you cannot even get to the control panel to change your desktop or volume etc. it is hard to find compatible software that would work on this machine.
can't think of any other cons, exept thet the screen is not very bright in full sunshine. But all gps have that problem.

Other: If you want a cheap, reliable and big screen GPS get it!!
It' well worth the money, it is a popular machine so you might have to wait a little longer like i had, 5 weeks, but it's worth the wait.
