7" Touch Screen TFT LCD Google Android 1.6 Tablet PC w/ WiFi/Camera (VIA WM8505 ARM926)

Pros: Good as ebook reader. I use it with iReader for Android for reading PDB and tried about 5 other readers. Display is good and nicely readable even on 50% brightness level. Build quality is good. The back is plastic but relativelly sturdy.

Cons: Short endurance on battery. Between 2-3 hours with WiFi and 50% brightness level. My device emmits annoying high pitched sound while enabled from a coil or capacitor. It's not too loud and some people won't even notice it, but for me it's annoying. The sensitivity of the touch control can be better. Even after several calibration attempts of touch control it's hard to control the device, especially the menu scrolling is hard.

Other: My device arrived after 12 days of waiting, so I'm generally satisfied with delivery time. Device arrived with Android 1.6 build 1.7.4., there are no manufaturer logo.

Pros: If you want something for the kids to play games on, browse the web, or take notes, this is great. Even if you only use it as an e-book reader, it works brilliantly and the price beats most other ebook readers.

Cons: As with most android tablets coming out of china and HK it has the same androidID as all the rest so the official Market application does not work. There are plenty of fixes on slatedroid.com but better suited to more geeky people. There is another application to install packages however, but primarily asian language games etc.

Other: Great cheap android tablet with higher specs than most others (ie the Eken M001,2,3). Probably one of the better ones available at this price.

Pros: cheap , nice to see the possiblities off tablet pc's. It looks good build.

Cons: This tablet is not very stable, wifi goes on and off. Sometimes it just freezes. Apps are starting slow. No info about manufacture so no updates available.
The touchscreen does not respond very good.

Other: If you want a real tablet PC buy something else, if you want a gadget to show to your friends then this is a nice thing. You could use it as e-book reader or listen to music.

Pros: All the pros will Android only for architecture, in my case I updated to 1.8.2 was very good.

Cons: Equipment with an incredibly poor quality. In my case the device only works as a desktop, because the battery stopped working yesterday and from the higher volume buttons stopped working when the menu stop, got a paperweight. Do not buy if you knew.

Other: Flee from this model.!

Pros: The tablet is cheap, small/ light and great for surfing internet; emails on yahoo, gmail, msn; facebook, and Standard Definition video on Skyfire 2.0, YouKu, and todou, etc. The Touch panel is quick in response and scrolling up and down smoothly. Zoom in and out is also effortless with a stylus. Its fun to be able to try out a lots of free apps- on the unit.

Cons: The unit Upon received works well. However, soon the user will feel strained as Youtube video/ the video in the browser could never play; and the AppsMarket cannot download files. This is a flaw in the original firmware. Upgrading would be a challenge to many new user, and risk the possibility to brick the unit Bootcode rendering it totally useless. Fortunately, there are helps from Forum in this site and www.Slatedroid.com , to re-install the working firmware into the unit. However, there are some whom still had not been successful todate. Android 1,6 does not support flash.. so Youtube Video Don't play. The CPU is small and GPU could not handle all Video format and high definition video well.

Other: great for surfing internet and watching small video, fun learning about Androids, download apps - games , etc. (after re-installing Fytouch firmware)

Pros: No pros. **I DONT RECOMMEND** *NÃO RECOMENDO*

Cons: The touch doesn t work well. Its hard to scroll the the SCREEN using the finger. WIFI is too weak - the range is less than 10 meters(TEN METERS). Gravity sensor doesn t woRking. I believe it is the worst deal that i have made in my life. The produtct has a POOR QUALITY.... Esse produto tem a pior qualidade que já vi em um produto desse tipo: desde o detalhe do manual até a pobre tela de cristal liquido que vem com um plástico que mais parece uma embalagem do que a cobertura do LCD.. Tudo é ruim... Não consigo imaginar o que eu vou fazer com essa tranqueira,.

Pros: None. It is a wonderful product until you start it to play :)

- Fast web browsing with DOLPHIN if you install it

Cons: - Processor only 174.44 MHZ !!!!
- Bad touch sensitivity
- Bad wifi signal
- Bad battery work time. Only 30 min with WIFI on.
- Low visibility on day light
- Auto rotate very but veryyy slow
- After 10 min with power on it is very hot
- Poor quality material used on it

Other: Don't buy it!!Waste of money and time.

Pros: - Came with android 1.9_88 Installed
- Market WORKS out of the box
- youtube working out of the box
- Touch screen is senstive and scrolling is easy
- works with USB keyboard
- works with USB bluetooth dongle
- works with CDMA and GSM modems (or your cell phone attached as a modem)
- Fantastic MID!!

Cons: - dongle presents a strain issue on the dock connector. I suggest a generic apple ipod/ipad extension cable to connect the dongle for ethernet/USB

Other: Buy this. Highly recommended!

Pros: This certainly one of the better devices you can get in the $100 price range. The build quality appears to be slightly better than the M003 or similar products from Eken, and it's the only one with 256 MB RAM, which makes a huge difference if you want to run other operating systems like Ubuntu on it. There is a community of hackers adding features and modifications to the software to make it more usable on this and other machines. Having ethernet and USB connectors is very useful for hacking, although the dongle seems a little fragile.

Cons: Like most cheap tablets, this comes with a resistive touch screen, which is much harder to operate than the expensive capacitive touch screens you find in many phones or high-end tablets. An ARM9 CPU running at a low clock frequency (haven't measured it yet, but the CPU is designed to run at 300 MHz) cannot provide a great user experience compared to what you would expect from an ARM11 or Cortex-A8 based device. Loading a moderately complex web page can take a minute compared to a few seconds on a PC. The camera is barely usable, and I couldn't get the accelerometer to work yet. The pre-installed software (Android 1.6 with modifications) is aging and parts of it are not licensed properly, so if you want to use the machine for more than just watching youtube and simple web pages, you need to have some deep Linux skills to make it do what you want. Mine took almost two months to arrive

Other: This is just the low end of the first generation android tablets. If $100 is your budget, get this tablet or one of the identical ones (e.g. sku 42216). For a little more money, you can get a much faster CPU (ARM11 in sku 41984, or a tcc8902 based machine) and within the next months there will probably be better replacements at the same price tag. However, don't expect this to compete with the performance of a modern cell phone or even one of the high-end tablets using Cortex or Atom processors, there's a reason for the price difference.

Pros: This product has the new 1.9.88 firmware on it and that is perfect! Wifi is working good and connect much further than 10 meter. Market is working after registration.Also youtube is perfect with high quality video.

Cons: The charger is not for EU use, but when you take a simple travel socket which can be found on DX this problem is solved.

Other: Perfect gadget for the money, it took 30 days before i had it but it's worth waiting for!!
