    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: nice aluminum case. cheap for a 720p mpeg4 streaming wifi camera. does everything it advertises.

    Cons: the 8mm lenses it's shipped with magnifies quite a bit, and therefore the field of view is rather small (to see an entire side of a car, it needs to be some 15 meters away). i'm in the process of acquiring a replacement lens. the web interface is not obvious, took me a few hours to realize that i need to change settings under the LAN tab to make the wifi connection work. web interface requires flash and doesn't work well on linux. firmware update is not available. no clue who is the manufacturer and what model it is. web search suggests it's a Wansview NCH-532MW, but it lacks any sign of that. the installing arm is not super stable and has some plastic parts (what about years of sunshine?).

    Other: it's worth its price, but check if the lenses are good for you and don't expect very high quality.
