8.4V SST-50 5-Mode Memory Circuit Board for Flashlights

Pros: It's just good to have a 4 amp driver. Well I can't tell if it really is 4 amps, but I'm using it with a Cree xm-l and it's exceedingly bright. on high the led, which is well heatsinked, gets very hot in a few seconds. Without any heatsinking on the PCb, it only gets warm on extensive use. I'm guessing that properly heatsinked, it could handle being on high, but I dare not risk it yet with the XM-l

Cons: Not really any cons. It's very large, I don't need strobe and SOS, and it's hard to heat sink when the battery contacts are both on the only flat surface.

Other: Good to get a nice powerful driver for these new LEDs.

Other: VARY WELL MADE DRIVER GOOD PRICE VARY VARY POWERFUL.IM GOING TO BE ORDERING MORE OF THESE NEXT WEEK SO TAKE IT FROM A TACTICAL PRO. BUY SOME.

Pros: Worked? Yes it works.

Cons: Not easy to solder, took me like 20 to 30 mins. I used it to replace the driver of SKU 36031 which got burn with less than 1 hour of use.

Other: If you have the same light as me you might soon need one of these. I had never soldered anything before this and I was able to figure out how to replace the driver, I'm so impressed by myself, :) it's not that hard , really. And good driver BTW, buy it if u need it, it works.

Pros: I have the old version, the one in the 'customer images' and it's great.
It is driving a P7 at full 4A in a floodlight every night for more than a year now without any problems.

Cons: The only cons i can think of are the presence of sos and strobe modes, they are utterly useless. And the fact that you have to solder the supply leads directly to the bottom pad as opposed to beeing a dedicated place for them.

Other: Great driver, it can drive a P7 with no problem with enough heatsinking and please somebody find out how to make this one mode.
