Pros: Very nicely designed sensor light with a good range of settings like Day, Night & Continous. Easy to change batteries without tools required. I like that these run on 2 AAs as my other sensor lights operate on 3xAAA batteries. LEDs are bright & white. Good as a night light in the bathroom or kitchen counter if you don't want to turn on the lights to save electricity or disturb others sleeping.
Cons: LEDs could be a bit brighter and beam more evenly spread.
Other: Good buy.

Pros: I use it in the hallway so I can see where I'm walking without searching for the light switch in the dark and waking everybody up with the big lights. It works on rechargeable batteries. It responds well to motion and can be configured so it only lights up in the dark. This works as expected. The light is well flooded, it's not a spot.
Cons: The spring for the batteries is a bit too long, making it very hard to get the batteries in or out without damage. You'll possibly need a knife or thin screwdriver to get the batteries out. The cover simply clips on, is hard to remove and is entirely made out of hard plastic. So I'm pretty sure one day one of the clips will break.
Other: Small lights based on motion detection are quite common, but usually they have to be plugged in the wall and use a lightbulb. If you don't have an outlet available or want something that does not rely on the net, this is a great light to avoid accidents in the dark.

Pros: Easy to use/set.
Actually it has TRHEE mode, not two! DX could correct the description.
I)3 mode available:
II)20 seconds timer
1st:stay Light up, no matter if it's under the sun or in a dark room;
2nd: infrared motion activated-night mode- it lights up when motion is detected AND it is dark.
3rd: infrared motion activated-day mode- it lights up when motion is detected, even during the day.
-the LED lights up for 20 seconds, not 50 as described.
Bright, good finish, looks good.
Cons: Comes with a double sided self adhesive tape, but you can peel only one side, and the other side is actually glued to the protective paper. SO it does not work. This is the only con.
I had to buy new tape to stick it in the ceiling.
The IR sensor range is not 3meters actually..
I asume that most of people would install this lamp in the ceiling. When installed in the ceiling, it lights up only when you get two steps until you stand in the bottom of the light. It means will light up when you get about 2meters from the light.
But now, if you hang it in a wall, facing to you, the sensor range goes higher than 6meters.
The sensor angle is 120degrees. Have that in min.
Other: Someone asked about it's brightness.. It is more than enought to light the hall, corridor at night. So that you can find your way without stumbling in things or find your keys. Defnitely not to read a book or do any activities.
It has 8 standard LEDs, have that in mind.
Someone mentioned that the cover is hard to remove. It is in a hard cristal plastic, but it is easy to remove, not hard.
The only thing hard to take out are the batteries. You need a help of a small screw driver or something else to take the batteries out.

Pros: Sensitive motion sensor
Adequate light to dimly light a room
Long run time (still haven't gone through a set of rechargeable batteries
Put it anywhere so you don't trip over stuff as you enter a dark room
Cons: Mounting options a little difficult but no big deal
A little too sensitive sometimes
I could see in the future that the tabs may break when putting the batteries in if you aren't careful
Other: cheap and works well

Pros: Yes I've just tested it and it works fine. Indeed the sensor lights up when I'm about 3 metres away. Good for dark hall ways when u get up at night. So now you don't have to reach for the wall switch, nor risk kicking the legs of a chair or table. The eight LED bulbs are quite bright. It will suffice to light up a short distance in the middle of the night (not too sure about day time though).
Cons: The only thing I don't like is the box that came with it. It was somewhat crushed due to the postage journey the parcel had to endure. For a moment I was worried about the product. I will post a photo to show how it looked.
Other: If you're looking for an item that server this function, then it's the one to get. Great price and functionality!

Pros: Gives sufficient light for what is intended is, like light step or similar.
Infrared sensor works well to 2 meters.
You can change the batteries without picking up the equipment on the wall.
After a month of use, looks like the first day, the consumption at rest is really small
Cons: Not worth to give light inside a wardrobe, although this is not a problem of the equipment, but the use I wanted to give. For this better to 12 v led strips.
Other: A good light to implement places step without wiring and switches.

Pros: So when i got this Ir lamp i was a little dispointed because it was bit to small , and i thought that it will not do it's job. But i was rong it it perfect my my hall. I tryed to put it on the sealing but the double sided tape was rubish . Then i mounted it on one of the side walls and it's stays perfectly. With a new and better doublesided tape. And teh range it's really big like this over 3m by farr. For me it does it's job. The light it's not for reading but enough for finding u'r way around.
Cons: Not many. The double sided tape was really bad. The package that came with was ok, not broken or anything.
Other: Great Ir lamp for any places where u don't need so much lite or u don't have u'r hande free to search for the light switch. If u need it, buy it. you won't regrte it.

Pros: I have 6 of these and use them in wardrobes and in a closet under the stairs where it's a hassle to put up lighting. They work really well to light up those hard to reach places. I also have some Philips LED lights that work the same; they cost twice as much and give off less light with a shorter range on the motion sensor though so I much prefer these.
Cons: Plastic cover is a bit flimsy and the double sided tape is no good
Other: Great product for a low price.

Pros: Good amount of light for our use: illuminating steps at a door entry in our basement bedroom. Bright enough for showing you clearly what's there, but not blinding. The way I have it positioned, it comes on just when I would want it to, maybe when the person is 3 or 4 feet from the steps.
Cons: The first one I bought didn't work. I took it apart and tried to fix it, but that didn't work either. DealExtreme replaced it after just a bit of correspondence. This is the only time I've asked for a replacement.
Other: Worth getting. If the batteries last as long as claimed, it will be especially worth it. (I'm using rechargeables, but I'd rather not have to replace them all the time.

Pros: wow, as what other said, is a good product. i use it to motivate my son for night toilet. this is light a toy for him. i believed he will use this for night toilet.
yeap, the light is birght enough for small toilet. and environmental friendly as using less battery.
Cons: none, can't think of now.
em.... may be is too sensitive to detect light brightness.
Other: is a good product to buy, if the price drop some more i will get more for my family and friends
