8 LED Phone Line Powered Lamp with Battery Bay

Pros: Works very well on batteries. Since it uses LED it will last for years! Its very bright and small, great for iluminating a small area on your desk!

Cons: Does not work very well on phoneline, since my phone becomes totally unsusable.

Other: Very cheap, if you need a small desklamp this is the one!

Pros: Works both on phone line and battery. Just right as a night light for kids room.

Cons: battery with it totally useless (flatted).

Other: Very cheap, great as nightlight.

Pros: This lamp is great. The brightness of the LED is good. I like to use this lamp late at night as it's not as bright as the main lamp in the room thus not disturbing others in the house. Plus it does light using the phone companies power!

Cons: When turned on, with no batteries installed, light output is very good but does make your telephone line busy/engaged.

Other: Great little light!

Pros: Works on either batteries or phone line. It is cheap.

Cons: Doesn't work on phone line with is in active.

Pros: • Works well over my VOIP phone line • Very bright for an 8 LED • Plan on using this as a night light and replace my current one

Cons: • When plugged into my VOIP phone line, it makes the phone busy

Other: Cheap and worth picking up and would make a great night light. Good thing there's a battery bay, otherwise, this item will seem useless to me.

Pros: Works well as emergency light and to illuminate around the bed in the night. Not too much light but it is free by phoneline! It is a nice little lamp.

Cons: Without batteries is too light.
The cable is too short.
The phone line connection isn't working sometimes. I've bought four of this lamps (two from dealextreme and two from ebay) and only three works with phoneline.

Other: worth to buy it. Buy more than one, because some lamps won't works with phoneline.

Pros: It's a great idea. I live in the middle of nowhere and get a lot of powercuts. I thought this lamp would be well handy in a powercut. The lamp is reasonably bright, you could easily ready by it.

Cons: There's a problem with the socket where the cable from the phone line plugs into the lamp base. If I ram it right in and hold it, the lamp works but as soon as I let go, it falls out. I've considered glueing it in with a really strong glue, but haven't got round to it yet.

Other: If it had worked I'd have given it 5 stars all round. Disappointed.

Pros: This gadget is useful when the power goes out and you have to get to a light source quickly(keep it by your bedside table). The LED's are bright. The unit comes with 3x AAA Batteries. The bendy neck of the light works well and holds in shape/direction you move it in.

Cons: Did not work on my phoneline.
Cant use AAA batteries when it has the phone line connector plugged in.
Build quality is pretty bad when I got it the reflector lense fell out!

Other: If it ends up working for you in your phone line then its worth it for sure otherwise it might still be worth a look at as even if you got no use for the light, you end up with 3x AAA batteries delievered to your door...

Pros: Quite bright for it's size, can easily light up a computer keyboard in a pitch black room, and if moved up can produce enough light to be able to see what your doing in a room. Can be powered from a phone line or from 3xAAA batteries.

Cons: Mine scuffed, looks second hand.

Without batteries in the base it can easily fall over.

Other: For this price it's useful to have around even if only incase of power cuts. Though it does make a useful desk light too.

Pros: The light is sufficient to provide low level lighting to a room at night, though it is perfect for lighting up a small focused area if you're working on projects and require additional lighting. The batteries are included! The phone line power option is awesome, except mine did not work :( Will contact DX and update my review for everyone.

Cons: Mine did not work with the phone line RJ-11 setup. I will contact DX to see what can be done about it and update my review.

Other: If you need additional portable lighting for working on any projects this is awesome to have. The phoneline option did not work for me so it wouldn't be so great if you were considering using it for a emergency light source and dont have batteries lying around(though it does come with batteries).
