What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Nice mechanic build with no creaks altough it's all plastic. Acceptable speed and compatibility for my purposes. Good WiFi quality (for my home network, again). Good qualty of screen picture (colors and brightness), 4:3 display, dual-touch (just for zoom, not more), resistive sensor works fine with normal "thin" stylus or just chopstick (i find it convenient:). Viseo player included to stock firmware is able to play all my medium quality AVI files (but not from Win LAN shares). USB HID input devices are working too (that was a good joke to connect my old PS/2 huge trackball via PS/USB converter). Nice Chrome-like browser (the one called MyBrowser unlike another one included called just Browser:)
Cons: No way to get its stock firmware file, or just identify its model or manufacturer. Label on the back panel is "BLY-806" as on photo, paper manual's cover voices "LY-806", and the community is talking that common WM8650 firmwares does not fit here in BLY-806 mode (giving an upside down screen sensor functioning or like this). Stock firmware has no original Android Market (and to install it, it's necessary to get and burn new Android device ID manually with some kind of street magic). 3rd party video players like MPlayer or Arcmedia does not work. It's due to the DSP hardware properties, seems like nothing to do with this. I'd be happy to be wrong.. Don't know why, but my device is hanging up every time it wakes up from the sleep mode. I see the locked screen picture but cannot slide the screen lock. Now I just have to tune it up to turn off display, not to sleep, and have to fully switch it off manually when idle for a long time without AC power. It has no internal Bluetooth driver, so U can't attach a dongle to use it with BT phones or to sync it with Your laptop. Sorrow :( The same is to GPS varieties or USB-to-serial adapters. No USB charging (it requires ~15W, of course, but is it too hard to make at least a trickle charger? Maybe I'd do it by myself). DC power plug has the same diameter as phones jack - not damaging when got crossed, but not completely fool-proof (just plugged the power to phone hole and "wow, where is my charger?! and yet the sound?!":) Backside comes hot in two minutes and stay warm all the time the power is on, not depending on processor load. Not burning my hands, but I feel with my fingers as it's wasting my battery energy :) (but still works within 2-3 hours being fully charged). Frontside frame is of plastic, not of brushed metal, doesn't look completely cool, but on the other hand, not cooling hands :) AC adapter has flat mains pins only (requires a trick for my European outlets), and it's DC cable is too short (1 meter I measured). I fix it all with a piece of electric cable with a mains plug and an adhesive tape roll. Now looks nearly like laptop adapter (but with some colorful strips:) and has 2.5m range :).
Other: Good buy for some slightly restricted purposes (net surfing and messaging, middle-to-low quality video, light gaming (also for children, due to price), pictured e-documents viewing (like DJVU or PDF, what I primarily needed of this tab), and otherrelatively simple applications). Like possibly any other cheap semi-branded product, requires some post-processing with a prayer and a rasp-file :) . Although, it's fine for its money. If You're just a technician (or even not!), not a gamer or videophile, and You have no a billion for buying that kind of nibbled fruits, well, this device with it's large screen and moderately fast processor may be Your advisable choice.

Pros: Multitouch (only good for zooming but still multi-touch)
decent battery life.Bright screen with very nice resolution.
Cons: Need an adapter to use usb or ethernet. Can't find a leather holder for it here (All the tablet covers seem to be for 9-10" tablets and this is a small 8")
as frozen up several times. A few programs have totally crashed it (goes back to the "loading" screen and takes 4 times as long to put the desktop back up.)This may be my own fault though as I have installed darn near every free game I could find at several app sites.
Other: Good buy if you just need a tablet to read PDFs or play simple games. Not too sure how well it plays video as I haven't tried to play video yet.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's a nice tablet for showing photos, browsing the web, watching movies, and doing some other simple tasks. It has a big screen with a decent resolution. Google Android helps you getting used to it and you can also use the play store to download more apps. The developer has some apps preinstalled, like MyPhoto, MyMusic, MyVideo, a alternative browser, taskmanager and some widgets. Touchscreen is responsive, although it's still resistive.
Cons: It is not a real 800 MHz CPU! Actually it's 600 MHz and 300 MHz DSP for playing videos, but that's not really a con, because this works also fine. Don't expect playing games on this tablet, because it cannot handle any games except some little 2d games and wordfeud etc.
Other: If you want a nice tablet for simple tasks for a very decent price? Buy it!
