What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's cheap, it's working. It's a must for everyone who wants to be involved in electronics as a hobbyist or as a professional.
Cons: Sometimes it's kinda hard to put the legs of the elements in the sockets, but it's not something that would be much of a problem, maybe it's just new and it needs some adaptation.
Other: Good board, nice price. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who is involved in electronics.

Pros: It's cheap... It's less than a 1/3 of the price in a local store. I have tried all sorts of things on it since I bought it and it works without any kind of noticeable problems. It also has a lot of points to use (830), but you probably won't really need that much :)
Cons: The back has a sticker on it and if you pull it off (which in my case happened accidentally with usage) is full of glue so you can fix it somewhere... to some this might be a PROS, not Con, but I see really no reason why you would fix it anywhere... it's meant to be portable?!
Other: Buy it, you won't regret it.

Pros: One of the best breadboards ive tried. Excellent quality. You can connect a few of these together for larger projects. Side rails not splitted in middle like on many similar boards. Red and blue lines wich makes it easy to know the polarity Very good price
Cons: Things tend to become loose if you mount stuff on it when its not on a table
Other: Very useful for most electronic projects
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Compact yet large enough for useful test circuits for small projects. These are quite well constructed and unlike some others I've had the holes line up fine with the contacts underneath. You can lock multiple units together for larger projects and there's adhesive on the back if you want to mount them on a board that way. They have a standard size & spacing with two power rails on each side unlike some smaller/cheaper types. The power rails on the sides have a split half way so you can choose to run 2 different voltages in your circuit if needed (or remember to bridge them together if not !)
Cons: None that I've found
Other: No hesitation in recommending these
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very sturdy construction. Excellent finishing: very smooth, without burrs. Easy to keep clean. The contacts are perfectly alligned with the holes. Good quality contacts (looks nickel-plated). there are screew holes under the adhesive, so you can attach it using screews if you want. The power rails are detachable. It has good mounting grooves
Cons: None.
Other: One of the best breadboard I´ve ever used!

Cons: The contacts are not appropriate to hold tick pins. If you try to put an adruino nano on this thing you will probally damage it. I think this is a serious drawback.
Other: Still one of the best breadboard I´ve ever used, but I´d preffer SKU#118355 for use with tick pin devices

Pros: Does what is has to. The price for this quality is absolutely ok and unlike many other boards this one has two rails for power supply. I'd tested it by implementing an "Arduino on breadboard" project with it and also tested burning ATtiny chips on it.
Cons: It's not easy to clean it once it's dirty. Haven't found any serious cons yet.
Other: It's a nice tool, I'd recommend it for anyone make hobby stuff with electronics.

Pros: This board is sold everywhere and the quality is the same as everywhere else. It's the best board for prototyping circuits. Most chips and other elements fit perfectly. What sold it for me was the price. Here at local stores it is three times more expensive.
Cons: I don't know why but the horizontal rails for power sources are not connected through the whole lenght but are cut in the middle (blue and red lines represent where). I had this board in my high school years and I don't remember it having this. Not a con really, just an annoyance if you want to connect elements on both sides to the same power source.
Other: Great product for a great price.

Pros: + Can connect multiple breadboards + Plastic on Bottom can be removed, for sticky surface + Power rails can aslo be removed.
Cons: Unable to find any cons
Other: ------------------ For it's low price, it's a nice product. Exactly does what it should. The pins seem to be exactly 0.1 inch from eachother, as it should. ------------------

Pros: Very well made. Great quality plastic and contacts. It also has an adhesive on the back, so you can glue it to a table or something else (I didn't, but still..). Great for playing with leds and other stuff that you can buy on DX. Also, you can buy 2 or more and put them together. It's great for use with an arduino, shields and stuff. It's a great solderless breadbord to test all the circuitry before you solder all together.
Cons: None so far. This is some great product that DX brought to us.
Other: It costs 3 times more in my town!
