    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: For the price it's great. Bought a used 20G 3rd Gen iPod from a guy that all but gave it to me because he did not want attempt to replace the battery himself. I found it easy to pop the ipod open remove the old battery and put in the new one, no instructions needed.

    Cons: This replacement battery seems a little bit longer than the original battery. But I got it to fit just fine.

    Other: If you think your IPod is dead and it won't turn on it could just be the battery. Give it a try.
