  • One very bright strip light

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Very very bright. I took it around with a drill battery wowing everyone in the office with how bright such a small thing could be. Now I will go install it in my server closet where it will serve as the main light. Being a 12V unit, I can run it off the 12V back rail and don't need to get the electrician to install it. Has screw-holes at each end for good attachment. Nice big solder pads.

    Cons: It gets hot. Make sure the back is heat-pasted to some sort of heat sink (such as an aluminium server rack in my case)

    Other: If you need a bright strip of light on 12V, this is it.
