Pros: It does what it says it does! Zoom lens magnifies 8 times and the picture taken does not show any los of clarity. The protective case fits perfectly around my iPhone so the zoomlens is nice and tight around the camera! The zoom ring is easy-to-use.

Cons: When taking a picture, the bottom of the lens shows on the picture as a dark blob. When you have IOS 5 you can alter the picture by cutting this blob away. This takes some time. Also, not very easy to take with you (can be taken apart and put back together again).

Other: Everyone I show it to is jealous about this new gadget I have.

Pros: Able to capture distance objects with much greater clarity. Good for taking portraits shots or still shots at a distance of 7 to 10m away against a landscape background. Creates a depth effect. Requires practice using the manual adjustments on the scope. Suitable for taking videos at a distance of 20 to 30m away. However, at that distance, any slight movement of the hand is magnify. A steady hand or use of a tripod will be good.

Cons: There is a slight ring of shadow on one side of the lens. Probably due to slight mis-alignment of the optical lens telescope and the iPhone camera len. The edges of the photos taken will be slightly distorted.

Other: A good gadget to play around with at this price. Can't replace a DSLR but some shots taken using the telescope may actually surprise you.
