Pros: I stumbled upon Joby craftet flexible SLR stands, but they are pretty expensive in germany approx ~50 EUR (70 USD). I bought 20 off this nasty gagedt, for me my friends and to resale them. WOW
I even can put my Samsung Camcorder onto that without no problems, my fathers Analog SLR with a big zoom objective> no problems even with that.
is simliar to jobs gorillapod zoom slr
Cons: the colour should be just plain black, gives more of a pro equip touch
none that i can think of
Other: Get get get it!
and tell your friends

Pros: Its about the same size as the 1.2KG tripod.
Easily portable
light
useful for low photography where a standard tripod is too bulky
Purple is probs better than grey for what conditions I use it for but grey would be better for resale
The pod is sturdier when wrapped around something like a bannister or pole.
Cons: I doubt it holds 3KG of weight, I managed to get my Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm VR AND Nikon SB-800 flashgun on but it was only just taking it, thats about 2KG. Although it did take the weight of the camera and lens better. The joints could be a little stiffer but for the price it (£40 cheaper than the original!) it is pretty much on the money.
Other: buy it, its good for any occasion!

Pros: Nice colour, moulded well to different positions. Seemed fairly well made. Also light and easy to carry!!!!!
Cons: Didn't fit my camera. For some strange reason I had it in my head that the screw fittings on the top of tripods were a standard size. This one was too large for both my slr and my compact. Also could have come with a carry bag!!!!!
Other: Check it will fit your camera!!!!!!!

Pros: Holds my lightweight DSLR (40D), with a real lens on it (30 year old metal and glass 105mm f2 prime with metal hood). It's not going to balance well with a long telephoto, but it's been great for me. Offers great versatility when you pair it with an IR remote.
Cons: People not familiar with this type of tripod may be startled by it. I have a neighbor who thought it was a sex toy. In other words, not a subtle item.
Other: If you've been eying the name-brand version, grab this one. It's a low-risk way to expand your photography. It's also worth it to get the one rated for a higher load you get more options.

Pros: Bought this about a week ago. Ordered and waited for two weeks before it finally reach me. Tried it on various positions and find it to be strong and steady. Mounted my D300 with standard zoom lens on it. No problem at all. The legs are made of rather strong materials.
There was a review stating the user's camera cannot be mounted onto the screw thread. This is not true. Do remember to unscrew the top thread before mouting your camera on.
Cons: The screw thread can be longer to hold the camera even better.
Other: I am not sure how this one varies from the white color one. Looks the same to me. But seems like more people have tried this purple one.
Definitely worth getting.

Pros: It´s a nice tripod for my DSLR camera.
Actually I have a Nikon D90 with a 18-105mm lens and the tripod works well!
With his all-flexible joints it allows you to free your mind and decide the best position to place your camera for nice shots!
It's cheaper than all other sites!
Cons: Well, it's not properly a con, but with this color of joints (purple) and the appearance, my friends who stared the tripod for the first (and second) time thought it was a naughty toy...
Other: Buy it if you want a small, light and flaxible tripod for your DSLR camera!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: very flexible comfort to use have good grip and fit to all the cameras (have adaptor) long enough to let you put the camera wherever you whant very steady so you do not have to worrie all the time about the camera she will stay put =) you can eve take out some rings from one leg to enhance it grip and angle
Cons: it is feel like not the best qaulitiy of meterials and sometimes you need strengh to manage it the way you want (good thing to avoid camera falling) it is alittle havey good anginst falling but not alway comfurtabe for carrying it
Other: cost worthy even if it will cost more then now do it job without any problems

Pros: lightweight. can be positioned in many ways and handles the weight of my eos 60D w/ 17-85 well in MOST positions.
Price !!
Cons: Legs break off sometimes when positioning but can be popped back in. I wouldn't put my camera on this tripod in any daring positions though.
Other: Perfect for situations where you want to put the camera down with a precise angle towards your subject, but I wouldn't trust it anywhere more than 10cm above a (soft) platform.

Pros: I was surprised at the build quality of this. The joints are very stiff and gives lots of resistance.
There is no need for tools when installing this, just screw it on.
Uses standard threading for cameras so will fit on all newer SLR's and digital cameras.
Cons: The rubber surfaces (purple color) on the joints and feet does not have very much friction.
Other: This is a very portable alternative to a full sized tripod.
And at 12 dollars it's only 25% of what i would pay for the brand name back home.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is very stable and very resistant. Very useful and practical, you can use it in any surface like tubes, handrails. Strong joints. It hold my T2i camera with 55-250 lens easily.
Cons: Feels like it has more plastic then rubber.
Other: Very useful product. Very easy to use. Very flexible and strong hold. Great tripod when you need to place it on strange surfaces.
