What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good deal- easy to adapt to various mounting surfaces
Cons: None
Other: Hooray
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: + 9 normal bright LEDs (no small ones like in some models) + Nice design White/Red + 3 Modes + 2 AAA + Bike mount
Cons: The rubber band used for isolation is very thin and can easily get torn.
Other: I can get locally similar products for a cheaper price, but this one does have nine LEDs instead of the three or five I was used to (which is good!)
Overall, the product is good and can be seen from a long distance so if you like the design, get it.

Pros: Great bike light, easy to take apart, long lasting battery life, very bright lights, many LEDs, different variations, sturdy, reliable.
Cons: None yet, looks like a well built light and hopefuilly will have none in the future
Other: One of the best buys I've made at DX and it really makes me feel safer when I'm riding home from class after dark
GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: 9 leds. By the effect of the cases magnifiers the light is impresive. Light effects are pretty. Well build bike support, with rubber bands for better grip.
Cons: Not water leakproof, there is a open square hole unprotected (why?). The power on-switchmode button is loose, water and/or mud can also filter to inside by there. No wide beam, very bright but in a very narrow angle (due to he lenses in the glass)
Other: The square hole can be insulated by hot glue, but the loose button... the contact glue can make miracle but i have no test this (due to the project i used it, i haven't used it and simply remove it and insulate with hot glue.

Pros: It's a nice safety tail bike light with 9 leds instead of the 3 tha most of the other lights have. The effect is very impressive, I feel much more safe using it on my bike. ==========================================
Cons: It's not really waterproof, there is a hole in the back case, and the button is quite loose too. I have to press it several times in order to get the desired mode.
Other: For the price worth it!

Pros: this could be nice as a strob light even for walking, although it is a bit big for that. the price isn't that bad either
Cons: requires too many batteries, but thats fine, it works fine. there isn't any other bad thing about it.
Other: I got three of these one for each of my bikes and one for when I go walking / jogging at night. but i think i want a smaller one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - VERY BRIGHT
- 3 MODES LIGHT IS VERY USEFUL
- BATTERY LIFE is EXEPTIONAL
- YOU WILL be seen at Night (the main purpose to buy the item)
Cons: - Build Quality rather weak
- The Plastic mouting is seems prone to break
- Seems not waterproof
-
Other: Get IT while last (in stock)
you have to pay more to get this level of bright with other brand.
Already get 3 of this item
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: * powerful beam
* 3 modes (steady, blink, 'wave')
* seems relatively rain-proof despite some holes
* works nice with rechargeable batteries
Cons: * poor side visibility (unlike sku.3637 with dedicated side LEDs)
* no European (or any other) homologation
* very plastic-y bike mount, need to be careful when removing the light from the mount
Other: Very good light for the price. Seems robust enough for the job, despite the flimsy mount.
This is my main rear light (always used in 'wave mode'), but in a urban environment I would recommend to use an additional wide angle rear light or arm ligh.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: A very affordable rear bike light. I have actually seen it at bike shops for 5x as much.
Impressively bright! Don't look into it!
3 simple modes. All the modes will get you noticed (the idea of a rear bike light), but the "wave" mode really stands out as an attention getter.
Cons: The down side is the build quality. Cheapy plastic, cheapy mount. But hey, what do you expect for so little money ?
Other: At this price, and considering how bright this is, it's a no brainer, get one, get two!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This light is just as bright as the major brand rear blinky that I have mounted on the back of my helmet and incidentally the front molding is identical. Visible from over 1/2 a mile away and probably farther. Still on original sets of batteries despite being used for several hours a week for the last couple of months.
Cons: Very little side splash. The light is very bright in the direction it's facing but has no real projection to the sides. The clip is junky, especially the post mount portion. The belt clip is better but is prone to coming loose. I've glued the clips to the back of my lights. The post mount has broken on all three of mine (attached to a road bike).
Other: Excellent value for a light that is 90% as good as an almost identical major brand light that I have. For the price difference I can buy 5 of these though. I'm a fan. I'll probably be ordering more to have some at the local bike co-op.
