9600mAh Portable Emergency Power Rechargeable Battery Pack for Cell Phone/iPod/iPhone/MP3/MP4/PSP

Pros: I use it to charge my iphone during long airplane travels. This battery is really great. The built quality is amazing. It's quite sturdy with a "rubbery" touch. I was able to charge my iphone 3 times and an Ipod Touch 2 times with this little toy. Its pretty small (no much bigger than an Iphone 4). Great.

Cons: The need to use an "adapter" as DC-IN. It would be better if it use micro-usb or something like that.

Other: If you need to charge your iphone, this is the best deal you can get. It's a little above the average prices of DX, but its also well above the average quality of products found here.

Pros: I bought this item on a gamble, it had few ratings but I'm delighted with my purchase.
This has a sturdy case made of metal and rubber and feels heavy. It came with a USB cord and eight tips to charge various electronics.
Charging is via computer usb port. Four LEDs show how much further charging is needed. They go from red, then yellow and finally green. When you have four green LEDs it is fully charged.
I used it to recharge my iPhone from 20% or less battery time remaining three times before the red LED came on, indicating it needed recharging.
I'm glad I splurged on this item. It is well made and versatile, recharging different kinds of electronics. One of the tips included is for iPhone, three are round tips, and three are small USBs, probably for cameras.

Cons: Instructions and markings on case are in Chinese. No English translation, but I am using it without any problem (I hope).

Other: A little pricey for DealExtreme, but also of a higher quality. I think you will be as pleased as I am.

Pros: Sturdy construction.
The electronics are easy to mod (but there isn't too many reasons to do so).
Really high capacity
It's not a no-name brand: the company is possible to find and the package have "genuine" tags.
Built in 4 levels Capacity indicator, that can be activated with a button.
On/off switch, for when you don't need to recharge anything for some time.
The indicators doesn't blink (charge/discharge) and there are no blue LED's.
It doesn't seem to scratch too easily.
It can stay on without any noticeable discharge (and it doesn't light/blink when charging other devices)

Cons: It takes many hours to charge (it's kinda expected, and no need to recharge the pack that often).
The charge connection for the battery pack itself is a round plug, you will need to use one of the provided adapters or a nokia-style charger to recharge the battery pack.
The screws may scratch other devices, if you have it together with them in your pocket.

Other: It do cost some money, but you get great value for the money.
If you are traveling away from power outlets, get one of those.

Pros: Works fine with iPad and iPhone 3GS so it fullfills what I need it too. Nice surprise was all the plugs making it easy to charge things with USB and mini USB +Nokia plug.

Cons: It is big.. Its the same size as my iPhone and weight is kinda alot.

Other: I think it is a good product, but I think it is to expencive. This should not cost more then 20 USD

Pros: Good price/performance ratio, its the best you can get for this money. Searched it for a whiler, and actually its nutjsut an OEM product, has an actual company label and model numbers etc.
Good Build Quality, surface is non-slippy and also hard to scratch.
Havent tested performance yet but build quality tells me that i will be surprised.

Cons: It's been about 6 hours and still charging form USB, not bad thou, since 9600 mah is a lot to charge for a 500 mah port.

Other: Go for it, you wont regret.

Pros: I have just been using this device a couple of days, and I am very happy with it! I had a little holiday on a campsite with very few power outlets, therefore this battery pack came in very handy to charge my (android) smartphone!
Quality is good, and the included adapters fit mostly any type of device/connection you might need to charge.

Cons: I have noticed one led (the 'first' one to light up when charging) always stays red, the other three turn green when the device is charged. Apparently this is normal behaviour, the device works as intended.
The device can't be charged through a usb (or micro-usb) pin directly as far as i know of. But with the supplied 'adapter' pins/tips you can, so it's not a problem. If you want to charge it from a regular power outlet instead of from a usb port, buy a separate power outlet to usb adapter.
Or use/buy a regular adapter with a round pin to plug into the device, and the right current/voltage.
Too big and heavy to fit in your pockets comfortably (although it's possible nonetheless), but if you have a bag or a coat with pockets you can carry it on you.

Pros: Good for 3 full cycle charge for iphone. it can charge iphone, PSP, sony ericsson phones, nokia phone, etc.. comes with different adaptor for diff mobile phone models. good for travelling use and places where electricity power sockets are limited.

Cons: it takes about 14 to 16 hours to fully charge the battery pack. it's kinda heavy to carry around. chinese characters are printed on the battery pack itself. can't understand what the words meant.

Other: it's worth the money.

Pros: Best price/performance ratio. I bet this is the best you can get for this money. Good Build Quality, surface is non-slippy, rubbery touch, hard to scratch. Not that heavy as I expected. Can be carried easily.

Is needed to use a nokia-style to charge, and this is another cable you must take with you!. It would be better if it would use micro-usb or something like that. It has no place to atacch a string to hold. It's so extrange in this kind of devices.

Other: Great capacity, for the money, but the design is not the best.

Pros: - Good build quality, the soft-touch finish on the black paint is a nice touch. Plastic (white) rim around the outer edge may eventually break with rough handling, but the black part is at least metal. - Haven't fully tested the capacity, but has charged 2x Nokias and an iPod on one charge, enough for me. - I'd feared the price was achieved by using NiMH or some other battery chemistry; it contains a nice set of 3x flat LiPo batteries in parallel, just as it should. - About the exact same form factor as most smaller 2.5" external drives

Cons: - Unless you have a proper charger (sold separately), you're expected to charge this via USB - Charging 9600mAh at 500mA is awful - LED charge indicators seem to be off by one: when charging, one extra LED is lit, prematurely indicating a full charge.

Other: I was concerned with the price, having designed a similar solution on my own for nearly 2x the price. Took a leap of faith and tried this, couldn't be happier. Don't build your own lithium MintyBoost, get this and use the saved time solving something more interesting.

Pros: Solid made: white plastic, metal case with rubber, so it isn't slippery. Battery really high capacity. Led indicator. Many cables for telephones, mp3/4 players, even for cameras. If you don't use it, just switch off

Cons: Well there is no english instruction, just in chinese language. All markings on case also in chinese.

Other: if you traveler - buy it. for that price very solid and universal battery pack.
