Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This item is very handy to have around. I am always by a computer so I can throw this in my bag and recharge my AA/AAA batteries on the go. Also the fact it has a usb power output port lets me use this device to charge my cellphone even while walking around or riding my bike (using the charged batteries as the juice).
Cons: The cable is a little bit short at about 15 inches. It is nice to be short for travel, but around the house I would prefer a bit longer, not a huge deal, usb extension cables are plentiful. Also sometimes the leds take a minute to register they are charging.
Other: Overall I like this product and ordered a second one to keep by my desk.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Plugs straight into a USB port, then charge your batteries from there. Does what it supposed to do with no problems. When you put the batteries in it comes up with a red light, when there done it comes up with a green light. 4 hours for a quick charge, the if you want a full charge leave them in there for about 12 hours overnight. Has auto-off function too. Also has a little output on it so you can charge stuff from the actual batteries themselves like you mobile phone or whatever.
Cons: Cheaply built, but then again it is cheap so, you get what you pay for.
Other: Nice charger, does what it says on the tin. And does it well.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This charger does what it says out of the packaging. But since it has a USB out, I use it as a backup battery for my gadgets (mobile, NDS, etc..) which never runs out. If the battery runs out, I can charge it. Either that or plug a fresh set of AA from the store. The fact that I can put some 2700mAh AA into these make it an awesone deal.
Cons: It's a decent charger but at 200mA for AA, be prepared for a long wait. It's not meant to be a fast charger.
Other: Decent charger as a backup. Awesome backup battery for all your gadgets that you can charge from USB. This is definitely coming along on my work trips.

Pros: - Charges all my NiMh batteries of varying brand with no problems - Convenient tool if you're always by a computer - Good and sturdy quality - Cheap price - Can be used as a backup battery with the built in outlet
Cons: - Takes a while to charge batteries
Other: Great buy. I highly recommend it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: USB out is useful
Cons: So slow
Other: If this could fast charge with a mains adapter I'd recommend it, but it doesn't.
Buy a fast charger instead
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Charges well, no problems so far. Very happy with this charger
Cons: None so far
Other: Good cheap USB charger
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: works, cheap price, just plug and charge
Cons: build quality seems abit crapy
Other: buy one if you need it for green laser lol
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Charges AA and AAA simultaneously.
- Very convenient if you have a bunch of USB ports and you hate having to crawl under the desk for a powerboard.
- Very cheap.
- Good build quality. The top plastic bit slides out to put batteries in and slides back in to keep your batteries from falling out if you bump it.
- Has USB out for charging mp3 players and phones.
- Can be used from the wall too.
Cons: - Slow charging. Perhaps a dual-head USB cable will help?
Other: Worth it!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good quality, can charge up to four AA or AAA's at once.
Cons: Power from a computer's USB port is limited to 500mA, but you can always get an adaptor to charge the batteries using the mains.
Other: Good spare charger to have around, can be used in the car as well which is very convenient.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap, compact so easy to carry around when on travels, just chuck it in a laptop case or something. The USB port on the charger itself is a good thing to have as it means other things can be charged from the batteries - for example, it can be used as an emergency phone charger.
Cons: Build quality is fairly crappy and sometimes it takes a while to register the batteries.
Obviously it takes a while to charge batteries from the USB port on a computer/laptop.
Other: A good buy really, and a very good price too. Handy to have =]
