What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Seemingly very good build quality. The wires are very soft, and the strain relief actually do the job for once...
Pretty consistent voltage - around 12.15V
Cons: The prongs are not foldable, and they protrude quite a bit. So storage is sometimes troublesome
Other: Buy it if you have an application for it. It's cheap enough to even cut loose the wires, and build your own customized power line.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Outputs a consistent 12.35v
-Pretty cheap (and small) compared to alternatives
Cons: -The cord is a little thin, but then again, I've been using this to power a small segment of a 509 white led strip (found on DX) for an under-cabinet kitchen light. Considering its location and that I've had no problems of consistent use, this is more of an "FYI" than a con.
Other: Pretty good quality for the price and certainly works (so far!) I've not tested near the 1A output yet, but close to it enough that the power adapter gets a little warm (not hot).
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This does it's what it's supposed to do, to provide power.
I used this on sku.2764 and works fine.
Cons: The wire is a little bit thin, seems like the wire would break if there are a little stress being put on the wire.
Quality is not that good. Plastic socket part seems cheaply made.
The wire length is not that long, around 4 feet.
Other: If you need power with a 5.4mm connector, get it. This is decent 12 volt 1000mAh power supply.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I bought this unit to replace the power supply unit from my computer's sound system.
Actually it's cheaper to buy a new than fix the old unit.
Cons: None so far. I'm using for more than one month and no issues.
Other: I'd recommend. Actually I never tested some around 1A to determine if it's really capable to deliver it, but so far, I'm happy with the unit.
Check the AC connector, since it comes with the USA model.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: They plug into the wall, and provide a source of DC power at 12v.
Tested and works well to at least 340mA. (Powering a LED strip, sku.11303)
Cons: THEY CANNOT HANDLE a 650mA constant load!
If you are looking to use this at or near the specified 1000mA, look elsewhere (sadly, DX seems to have no other option :( )
Other: I hoped to use this adapter to run two 390mA (specified, only about 340mA as tested in my configuration) LED light bars (sku.11303).
It failed this task :(
Only use this to power devices with a draw below 650mA continuous. (I suggest nothing about 340mA as that is all I can attest to working)

Pros: Great price. Good quality product. Purchased 5 of them and they are all working fine. Output voltage seems to be stable, and the wire is long too.
Cons: Wire is a bit thin for an adapter rated for 1A. There's no way it's thick enough for 1A current in my opinion. However it's perfect for my use.
Other: I'd purchase again if I need more of those. Also recommend this product for people who are looking for 12V AC adapters for less than 1A current.

Pros: This adaptor is perfect to replace a broken one. I bought to replace a Scientific Atlanta DCP2100 cablemodem adaptar and works like a charm. I read the specifications and matches with this one, and does the job without problems. In my Country (Argentina) this adaptors cost 20 dollars, so I decided to wait a few weeks and buy it in DX.
Cons: None so far. Works perfect and its not hot like the original adaptor that I replaced
Other: Buy it!

Pros: Good Sturdy Built..... Good Long Wire..... Long Wire enough for my use.... Fits perfectly into any DC 12V device. I use it for multi-product charging... Various Light emitting sources to Musical speaker systems to even couple of computer accessories... All these DC 12V appliances can be used / charged using this adaptor..
Cons: The local country convertor pin keeps coming out from this adaptor. Heavy to use and carry
Other: Good Charging Adaptor... A must for everyone who have multiple DC 12V devices -- all in 1 charger for them... Thumps Up !!!!
