Pros: - The best i bought from DX
- Works as intended
- reads all the codes i "feed"
- Even reads Mountain Dew can's (silver codes)
- Has a nice orange glow :)
- Qaulity is better than i espected
- Easily detected by xp AND Vista !
- Works like a normal keyboard
- Fully customisable !!!
- Booklet included with config barcodes
- Packaged in a nice box
- Long, sturdy cord !

Cons: - Non really
- No software included
- Orange light a bit to bright... ?

Other: I bought mine to use with my DVD collection and it works like a charm, reads every barcode and has a proffesional look

Pros: Works exactly as advertised. And exactly the same like other unit I have, only that the second unit was about four times expensive.
Works without any drivers with any operating system -- is detected like keyboard.
The unit is widely configurable and seems very durable.

Cons: Not much. It could be a bit smaller and could definitely come in black, white gets dirty easily.

Other: Good for anyone who wants to play or work with barcodes.

Pros: Well, reads bar codes. Does not work if you move the reader very fast or if you don't keep the reader close enough.

Cons: Mine did work great with smaller barcodes but didn't read longer ones, which are in my invoices. Those bar codes (128-B) are standard in finnish invoices, therefore if you are from finland you should look elsewhere.

Other: Great price, great functionality for basic usage, but check out if it supports the bar codes you need. This bar code reader does not support 11cm long bar codes.

Pros: Useful device, that acts like a USB keyboard input to the computer & requiress no drivers.
Works out of the box (Tested with UPC and code 128 barcodes).
Works well on Windows Vista x64.
Barcode is of good quality too.

Cons: Apart from not knowing the real brandname, nothing really.
The only exception is the manual is more or less designed for someone with a good general knowledge of barcode readers, but in most cases you wouldnt need to use the manual anyway.

Other: Great value for money barcode reader that works out of the box and on any system that accepts USB keyboard input (ie. vista x64, linux should work too.)
I'd buy another!

Pros: Well, this little beauty works straight out of the box. It detects in XP pro and Win7 without extra drivers and scans accurately and quickly. I am only hand scanning, so i cant comment on industrial automatic applications, but it worked well on small barcodes (13 characters in 30mm Code128B) and on curved codes on bottles etc. Out performs expensive Posiflex scanner by a long margin. Very pleased. The scanner is preset to sensible defaults but settings can be changed using the included manual. I had a quick flick but no need to use the book in general applications. All settings are done using the barcodes in the manual, so dont loose it! The scanner feels comfortable in the hand and is reassuringly heavy (as in well made). I would expect it to stand up to daily use in a retail situation without failure. The USB lead is quite long and a good tight fit. Used with several code formats inc. Code128B, Code38, EAN13

Cons: None that i can think of

Other: Does its intended job perfectly.
