ACAN 9800 USB Laser Handheld Barcode Scanner/Reader for Desktop/Laptop (2M-Cable)

Pros: This costs 7 times less then a barcode reader bought locally.
It's USB so just plug it in and away you scan.
Reads codes from brown cardboard, orange paper, large or small.
Behaves just like a keybord imput so can scan to Notepad/excel etc.

Cons: Does not read far as 58cm as stated but still works well out to 30cm which is fine for me.

Other: Cheap, simple to use and works.

Pros: - Plug and play. (win7 32bit) - use it to scan ISBN codes of my 5000+ books did first 250 the day I received item with no errors at all. - good quality build - Very fast delivery -

Cons: non that I could think of so far

Other: If you need a scanner for just plain bar codes this is the thing to get. Plug it in a win7 system and scanning away. For the expert user there are multiple way of fine tune programming.
