All-in-1 Dual HDD Docking Station with One Touch Backup for 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD

Pros: Great way to use SATA disks as quick available storage resonable price. you get a card reader as an added bonus (almost)- card reader can READ SDHC (no problem with my 16GB card)

Cons: The card reader cannot WRITE or erase SD cards!!! It seems to be a design issue - at first I thought the contact identifying the "Locked" position was stuck or shorted, but I opened the case and checked it - the contact is OK but I could not see a line connecting to it!!! it seemed they forgot to connect this pin to the reader chip. It is possible the line is well hidden and I missed it - but the fact it doesnt work seem to suggest otherwise... Also, you cannot hot-swap a drive when two drives are in. inserting a drive while one is already in will cause a power drop that resets the whole unit. It is preferable to turn the unit off, insert the new drive and turn it on again.

Other: Very useful device, would have been perfect if the card reader was able to write as well as read...

Pros: Very usefull device once you can have various hard drives (like myself), with big amount of multimedia data, like videos, images and sounds, and just wanna keep them plugged by the time of use.

Cons: You have to experience and pay attention when connecting memory cards. Depending on the slot type, you have to connect the card with face UP or DOWN, ex. SD card - face down, TF card - face UP... And so on.

Other: This device is a trouble shooter, and you can use it everywhere. I really recommend this product.

Pros: Easy to use. Works great. I mounted one 1 TB WD Green and one WD 640GB Green and it works great. The power supply it's powerful enough and it doesn't get hot even if it is used for many hours.It has 2 USB ports also and card reader working great with MicroSD HC cards(used 8GB Kingmax). It has E-Sata port also(not tested). Read/Write speed is very good. Quality of the product is also very good for the price payed.

Cons: USB to mini USB cable only 60 cm long. Has E-Sata port (not tested), but it is written on the box that it works only with master disc. If both discs are mounted you can't safe remove just one disc. You have to safe remove both HDD's, disconnect desired HDD and then connect the other HDD. Power cable was for UK plug and had no adapter, but I have plenty of EU power cables or I can just cut the UK plug and replace it with EU plug. No E-SATA cable inside.

Other: Great Docking station for lots of storage space. Price is good and DX service and shipping was fast and it arrived in perfect condition. If you need more storage space this is a MUST buy item. Quality of the product is also very good for the price payed.

Pros: Unlike other double docks this is able to run both drives using one USB port with no need for additional eSATA connection. Good looking unit with nice bright LEDs and plug and play install on Win7.

Cons: Removing and adding HDDs can be a little tricky. Recommend removing both drives, unplugging the USB port and then swapping drives around however you want and then plugging the USB port back in.

Other: Great unit but if you're going to buy something you're probably better off getting something with USB 3.0 as this is now "old technology".

Pros: If you required SATA HDD storage, i will seriously introduce this product to DX user. The quality is good & it does not look cheap plastic to me. I used Seagate 750GB & 250GB. I used different HDD so as to differenciate different user. Example my wife will use 750GB & i used 250GB. It works great. The power supply also seems good as it does not produce much heat as compare to those cheap HDD storage reader.

Other: Seriously dont doubt the quality, you will never regret buying this.

Pros: Great product. It is easy to plug in and work with. It does what is design for.

Cons: I have a 2TB HDD and the docking station is not working with it. Windows 7 did not recognize the drive. I tried it since then with an old 160GB drive and my workstation foundit right away. More then likely the controller is not being able to read that big of a volume.

Other: Except that it cannot read the 2TB drive I have no bad remarks on this.

Pros: Very simple, absolutely no hassle. Few cables, no driver needed for Windows 7, fast speed. The front hub is awesome! I bought two of these and, to my surprise, I can use a simple USB cable to connect one to the hub of the ohter, and lose absolutely no speed.

Cons: This is a con related to most docking stations out there: it worries me that the HDDs are very susceptible to dust and other impurities. I usually cover them with an improvised wrapping paper or plastic, which doesn't look too good.

Other: Amazing product. The price is a bit salty, but it does what it's supposed to and very well so. Buy more than one and you can connect them through the front hub without any speed loss, which is awesome for laptop owners.

Pros: A good product. Working properly. Quality is good. It meets all the expectations which I use it. Een goed product. Werkt naar behoren. Kwaliteit is goed te noemen. Het voldoet aan alle verwachtingen waarvoor ik hem gebruik.

Cons: I have not come across negative things about the product. Ik heb nog geen negative dingen tegen gekomen over het product.

Other: For the money it is worth to buy it. Voor het geld is het de moeite waard om hem te kopen.
