What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Cheap!
- Plug and Play. Works automagically!
- Good transfer speed.
- It's smaller than I expected, which is a good thing since it doesn't take up space on my desk and is easy to pack in my camera bag.
Cons: The USB cable it comes with is a bit short (60cm) if you have to use a USB port at the back of a desktop PC.
Might have to be a bit careful when inserting CF cards. Looks like the pins can bend or break if you shove it in too fast and/or not straight in. I've had no such problems as far though.
Other: Highly recommended if you're looking for a cheap and compact 'all in one' card reader.

Pros: The case high quality and build quality is generally good. Works in both Windows XP and Linux. Works for my 4GB high speed transcend card, which a lot don't.
Cons: The biggest problem with this for me is that its only a low speed USB device (some call this USB 1.0). Transfer speeds are very slow and basically I can't use this for that reason. The second problem is that the plastic case doesn't line up to the slots correctly, which means that you need to insert the card on a slight angle to get it in. I have only tried SD.
Other: If you need high speed USB (USB 2.0) then don't buy this, otherwise buy it.

Pros: Great as it does not need an adapter to read micro sd cards... very handy!
Cons: slight build quality issues but nonetheless an absolute bargain!
Other: Good enough for me, but I've just bought one with usb orts in it too.

Pros: small reads most of cards
Cons: low speed
Other: bargain
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Handy , does exactly what it should
Cons: at first it was a snug fit to get the card in, operator error :)
Other: If you don't have one , you need one!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Tiny, about 2x1 inches. Plastic feels solid.
Cons: It's labeled as USB 2.0 on the package but it definitely is not. Transfer speeds (read and write) are all under 1 MB/s. The same class 6 SDHC card achieves 7MB/s write and 20 MB/s read on other USB 2.0 card readers on the same computer. Same slow speeds for CF cards.
While the casing feels solid, the internal parts appear poorly made. The ports on the internal board are not aligned with the openings on the casing, so it takes a bit of effort to insert and remove cards.
Other: Good size. Very portable. But definitely not USB 2.0. It will take over 15 minutes to transfer a GB of data. With these speeds, the card reader is only useful in a pinch, but you'll want to invest in a faster one for daily use.

Pros: Great quality, size and easy to use... I recomend this product!! Work with all cards i have tested!
Cons: None
Other: Best buy comparing with the other card readers!

Pros: This is the smallest unit of it's kind that I've found so far. It is very handy for my family. We all have different digital cameras, and this unit has us all covered! SDHC, CF & XD cards all work great thought this unit. Even my PSP cards too!
Cons: The USB cable that came with my is a bit defective. If you move the cable it looses connection. I'm using a cable that came with my camera and it works perfectly!
Other: If you use multiple devices that take memory cards, this unit is for you!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very small and easy to put in a camera or laptop bag and not ntoice it is there.
Fast Transer
Well Made with a nice finish texure
Cons: Card slots are not marked so its a pain the first time you use to to know what goes where but anyone with half a brain can figure it out after a while.
Other: If you want a handy well made small card reader that has alot of slots this could be the one for you, and at this price you cant really go wrong.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Tiny ( smaller the a credit card)
Card slots are easy to identify
Great travel accessory
Cons: non
Other: Was really surprized about the size of it, i'm going to use it during my travels to upload my photos & create a backup while I'm travelling. Doesnt take up any space at all & the short USB that comes with it is a oerfect companion.
