Aluminum Cree Reflector Module Set (no emitter)

Pros: its cheep what can i say, it dose not fit the 16mm base led's i thoguth it would, yea that took some work to get tehm to fix, but I have a mill and was able to cut them to a larger size. other wise they are great.

Cons: they dont have the small washer that the others you buy have to hold them together. they are amlluminium witch is next to impossible to sodder to witch makes things a pain.

Other: if you wana save a few buck or already have a few led's and voltages regulators it worth it other wise buy them already built for the extre dollar or 2

Pros: cheap

Cons: to solder the spring on the +ve board is a bit PITA.

Other: imagine if you put a Q5 LED in that thing and your G2 will be the new king in town for that category!

Pros: relatively easy to build right dimensions to fit many models excellent heat dispersion unbeatable low price

Cons: difficult to solder some parts a bit tricky to put together with a driver

Other: fantastic chance to get a great build yourself drop in module. for very little $$

Pros: Solid construction. Nice, focused spot. Drilled hold match LED's legs.

Cons: The front ring edge can get scratched if you don't cover it quick.

Other: The main goal of this feedback is to tell everyone the front diameter is 24.5mm. I made my own lens with plastic 2 days before DX start to sell them. Now I ordered the glass lens from DX.

Pros: Very useful if you have a diode and need some reflector, which was my case. Nicely manufactured.

Cons: It's all metallic so you have to insulate the diode well, otherwise you'll get the short circuit.

Other: Helped me to modify my old bike light into a LED light.

Pros: Nice price, very nice quallity, you can do many DIY projects and provides good heatsinking. The reflector works very good.

Cons: none

Other: Be sure that you can fit your led in the space provided because a standard star doesn't feet, the diameter is about 19mm

Pros: nice bit of kit there.

Cons: spring bit to wide to solder.

Other: they are cheap so got some, i use them sooner or later,

Pros: -Solid build -Cheap -Does what it says

Cons: -Doesn't fit Q5 without a little trimming of the star
-Loose threads

Other: -Very useful if you are into building your own flashlights.

Pros: Complete package to make a light, good build quality too

Cons: Hard to solder PCT to the ring, and the ring falls out easily (and its not easy to solder the ring to the case)

Other: Cheap, good for the enthusiast. Made my first light with this with the Q5 emitter, no problems

Pros: These reflectors not only work with Cree, but with LUXEON Rebels too. Efficient, smooth beam, no artifacts !

Cons: None I found
