Aluminum Shell Micro SD/TF Card Reader (Max.16GB)

Pros: This is the best micro sd usb adapter in my opinion. I have seen it first bundled with R4 cards and am fallen in love with them since :)
They are sturdy solid aluminium - and do have a weight plus they do not look like they will fall apart soon. They also read every kind of micro sd cards (sd, sdhc, tested up to 8gb) with very good read/write speeds - depending on the card and they size of files copied.

Cons: Sometimes (once in every 10) they do not accept the micro sd card easily. This is due to the micro sd slot a bit bending inwards - you can repair it with a small flathead screwdriver. Plug it in and bend the slot's casing outwards a tad bit. That's all - it's not a complaint I know that it could probably happen during shipping.

Other: This comes handy if you're dealing with micro sd cards. It is also useful as an extendable usb storage key. Get one if you need one. You won't regret.

Pros: The aluminum case makes it an A+ in my book. I really like the solidness of this adapter. It has a curve in the bottom so it's easy to get the card back out because you can grab the notch on the MicroSD and pull it out.

Cons: Wish the cap snapped onto the other end, so It would be easier to keep up with it. But at this price and the great quality, I can live with that.

Other: My regular SD reader costs me 3 times as much as this one and it's plastic. Can't go wrong with this one. No more fiddling with two adapters to read my cards anymore!

Pros: I have about 12 different card readers- some bought on their own, others included when buying a SD card etc.- this one is one of the better ones!

-aluminum build makes it the right choice for travelling with
-has a hole for lanyard

Cons: -lid has become loose
-fits a bit loose into USB port- but still reads fine...

Other: At this price you might as well buy it if you even think you might need it

Pros: I tested it with all the micro sd cards that I have in the house and it worked well with all of them. I liked the casing, it looks really strong and that is a good point because I'm clumsy.
Eu testei com todos os micros sds que eu tinha em casa e funcionou perfeitamente bem. Eu realmente gostei da proteção de alumínio, parece ser das boas.

Cons: The lid should have some kind of attachement to the body, a strap or something. The way it is now I'm gonna lose it in less them a month.
A tampa deveria ser presa ao corpo com alguma espécie corda.

Other: Cheap, pretty and durable.

Pros: Fantastic unit for the price
Nice build quality
Looks expensive with the small size and metallized case
Immediately recognized by Mac OS 10.4 and 10.6
Comes formatted in FAT16 but no problem reformatting it.
Used it as both a USB stick and as a Micro SD card reader - great for both purposes.

Cons: Micro SD card a bit hard to remove.
Cap is separate - doesn't take long to loose it.

Other: Buy it - I bought two, very happy with them.

Pros: Construction: It really has an aluminum body witch is nice.
Speed: It is a USB 2 device, just as it is specified.
It delivers what it promises, I really recommend this Micro SD Adapter.

Cons: The plastic parts are poorly finished and do not fit perfectly, but for the price I don't think it is a con.

Other: Comprei este produto faz 15 dias e chegou bem antes do que eu esperava, já que colegas que compraram aqui disseram para ter paciência, pois poderia demorar até dois meses.
Este adaptador é muito bom, tem corpo de metal e funciona bem rápido, o acabamento não é perfeito, mas por 3 reais tá MUITO BARATO!

Pros: Larger enough to keep from losing it, small enuogh to carry easily. Has a nice sturdy aluminum body, an easy to see activity light.

Cons: Wish the cap snapped on the other end so you could keep up with it a little easier, but that's just my personal preference.

Other: This is the second one of these that I've orederd. Decided to get a spare one of them, and keep it in the bag that i carry my other tools and gadgets in when I work on other people's systems. Now i don't ever have to bother hooking my camera or mp3 player to my computer, I just pop the miniSD in this baby and transfer my files that way.

Pros: - aluminium body - price, undoubtly - small size - works with all micro SD and SDHC card I have - faster than branded I have - easy to make an USB flash disk drive - support BOOT from USB at my netbook - ACCELERATE your cards e.g. class 2 to class 6 !!!

Cons: - build quality - the plastic cap does not fit perfectly to the USB connector but still it covers it

Other: I am surprised and really satisfied. It is fast and it support USB Boot. The price is great. BUY it !!!

Pros: 1. Aluminium shell 2. Fast(with 2nd class sdhc speed is 5mb/sec, and 4th class 5,6mb/sec) 3. Reads 8gb micro sdhc without problem 4. Beautifull compared to other dx readers 5. Very small

Cons: I have two of them and second was slightly worse building quality.

Other: Better than that very small readers for $1. Add 50 cents and you get better reader with beautifull looks.

looks pretty good with that aluminium shell - looks more expensive than is.
it has a red light that flashes when pluged in.
size is really good - not too small and not too big

Cons: have a hole for cord in shell (didn't came with cord), but don't have a hole in cap thingy so you could lose it easely..
could be faster, but maybe it's cards issue, not readers.
mine came slightly scratched on top, but nothing big

Other: works good - could be faster though, looks nice, for the price - i'm pleased
