    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: I`ve been lookins such a processor for an old motherboard that supports it. I use it to replase an old Athlon x 64 3200+ .The price is very attractive. You cannot find on stock such a processor, because the model is old. If you find one, it will be used and with no guarantee. It comes with one year manifacturer`s guarantee, which is perfect. The name of unit is AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ The Technology is 65 nm. The speed of cores is 2613.5 MHz. The Instructions sets are MMX (+), 3DNow! (+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, x86-64, AMD-V. The replacement is very easy and quick. You need of course a heatsink paste. After rebbot, the system find the new hardware itself. As a result of the replacement the system runs much faster.
