American-Spirit Metal Oil Lighter

Pros: I love it. Money well spent. I've had it for a couple weeks, and I just yesterday had to replace the flint, but thats mostly because I've been playing with it a lot. I have only had to refill it twice after the initial fill up. It's very easy to light - when the wick was new, I was able to get it to light every time. I am able to do all sorts of tricks with it, but sometimes the wheel gets stuck when I try to spark it by rubbing it against my jeans.
When the flint ran out, I was able to replace it with a flint from a crappy disposable lighter, so thats good.

Cons: When the top is opened, the inside cartridge part rises up a little, and sometimes interferes with the lid when you close it if you don't push the cartridge back down.

When it arrived it was empty, but I understand why it would be dangerous to ship lighter fluid.

Other: Almost as good as a Zippo, but for a fraction of the price.

Pros: The case and design feel like they're high quality and very sturdy. Same level of detail and materials I'd expect from a genuine zippo.
Like all the star lighters I've encountered, the only real visible difference from a real zippo is the name on the bottom and the direction of the grain on the strike wheel.
The lid even opens to the same angle as a genuine zippo I compared it to.

Cons: None, I actually like this lighter quite a bit.

Other: This is one of my new favorite lighters, and that's out of a large and growing collection (mostly because of DX, of course.)
It's a bit pricier than the cheapest zippo-style lighter on DX, but it's cheaper than many of them, and it's well worth the price.

Pros: - Just works
- Easy to refill .

Cons: - Mine whas broken after one month it wont turn on anymore...

Other: Its cheap and t works for about one month!!!!

Pros: this is the perfect Oil Lighter for the money.

Pros: * Very high quality detail design
* Sturdy made
* Very good price
* Nice design
* Flint included
* Wick included

Cons: * No box
* Walls are thicker than original Zippos
* Wick hole is wider than in original Zippo
* Not sintetic wool inside like in a original one.
* Big fuel consumption (but i guess it is in all zippos)

Other: If you are thinking of getting an original Zippo, first try this.
This Zippo fake is better than other you can find in dealextreme

Pros: It works as you expect it to. I compared it side-by-side with a genuine Zippo and found it to be equally wind proof.

Cons: Despite fairly sturdy construction, these do not seem to be as 'tight' as they might be, and the result is that fuel does not last as long as it might.

Other: I'd rate these as good overall, and for the price, very good. Just keep plenty of fluid on hand.

Pros: Nice lighter. One of the few cheap ones on DX that doesn't have engrish, which is why I bought this one instead of some of the others they have. The striker wheel seems to work pretty well. Creates a lot of sparks and lights easily. I can even do the flesh torch trick (if you look this up and try it, please be careful! Make sure you are next to a sink or something when you practice)

Cons: The cotton isn't packed very well, but it's not a big deal to replace it. If you search google really quickly, you can find instruction on how to replace it, and cotton balls are really cheap and you probably have them lying around anyways.

Other: If you want a cheap Zippo-style lighter, this is a good buy. You should be able to do all the Zippo tricks with this.

Pros: - The price is excellent compared to a zippo, quality is also very good all metal alloy appears to be quite strong and good quality. It is a striking resemblance to the original zippo.

Cons: - Has no real cons, but it scratches quite easily, and also a little loose so the oil evaporates leaving no lasting so long.

Other: - If you want a lighter oil that can be a good choice, it looks like a zippo original and the price is much cheaper.

Pros: - Feels nice to hold in your hand, it is built robust. (The metal is nice and thick). - When fully filled it last long - I haven't had any trouble with it yet, only that it won't light sometimes but thats a minor thing. - The flint takes a lot to get "used" and feel bad. I've used it a lot lately and the flint stays as it was new.

Cons: - The only thing i can think of is that the lid can be bent a little at the hinges

Other: A very good lighter. I would rather buy this than a zippo lighter, 'cause this is just like a zippo lighter, robust and good! Go for it!

Pros: The thing that are good about this lighter: - I like the picture (and i am not form usa:)) - The weight is good - I like the color - When i hold it in my hand it just feel good - The wick is also good and new - The flint is good and new - When you open the lighter the sound is also good

Cons: The thing that are not good abut this product; So far all thing on this product are good so i cant tell you any cons:)

Other: Buy this product if you want it because is is very good built quility and looks cool.
