Pros: Ranges all the way down to 0.25v and up to 1000v & current from 0.1mA to 250mA, making it great for testing everything from batteries and ICs to coils. Quite accurate. Testing a few fresh batteries and known resistors produced readings that were spot-on. Analog gives a better feel for changes in readings and doesn't require batteries to test voltage or current output. Takes either 9v or 2xAA for resistance testing, so you can use whatever is handy.
Cons: Easily damaged in transit, apparently. It's shipped in the same brown paper bubble mailer most products are, but that offers little protection from being crushed for mostly hollow plastic.
Other: Good price for an accurate and versatile analog multimeter.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great little device that reminds me my early days with electronics, when I had only analogue multimeter :-)
As it doesn't need battery at all (well it does for resistance testing - but I'd reccommend a digital one for that anyway), you can leave it on all the time!
Some kind of measurements (like of a sound signal) can only be done with analogue multimeter or oscilloscope.
This one works suprisingly well - but only if you use a different cable for it!
Cons: Price reflects build quality: mine has some paint smeared, and the paper behind the hand isn't flat.
But mostly: throw away included cables at once, for those are totally useless! First I thought this multimeter isn't accurate: a new AA battery was measured as 1.2V instead of the correct 1.6V
Changing the cable to a proper one, the reading is spot on though (and using that crap cable on another multimeter, that shows 1.2V as well)
Other: If you know how to use (and for what) an analogue multimeter, it is a great value - but rather take price as $13 and order sku.6504 cable as well! (that cable is perfectly good quality)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very cheap, and easy to use. Enough types of measurements possible for a beginner in electronics, or for simple things like battery testing.
Doesn't need batteries as long as you don't measure resistance. Build quality is quite good, it is cheap plastic but you don't see that immediately.
Cons: The description says "Mini", but it is quite a bit larger than I expected. It measures 145x96x35mm (=5 5/8" x 3 5/8" x 1 3/8"). Mine came with a scratched screen.
Other: Good quality for the price. It is cheap, so don't expect much. It does what it should do, and does it well.

Pros: -It's really cheap.
-The manual actually very clear.
-There are a lot of different functions on it so you can measure a lot of things
-Works pretty straight forward
-You can calibrate it and zero it out.
Cons: -It feels a little cheap
-There is no good box where you can keep it in, I made one myself out of some cardboard.
-The wires are maybe a little too short, and the probes aren't that well built.
Other: It's good and easy to use multimeter. It's pretty accurate too. You should get this one if you want a analog multimeter like me.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Resistant materials. -The calibration is very accurate. -Very easy to use, quick response. -Nice classic and analog design. -Step by step instructions in English
Cons: -Although the materials are good and strong, when you have not put the batteries inside, the light weight of the unit can make it look a little bit fragile. -As mentioned, the box (packaging) is really bad and weak. You need somewhere to put it, or any case, box, etc. -The quality of the cables is only OK. The cables work, but may not always be 100% reliable.
Other: The price is not bad for the product. It works, I have the device for more than a year without having problems with it at all. I recommend to anyone who needs a multimeter, but if you need maximum precision is good idea to look for a digital one, or a set of cables of better quality.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This analog multimeter is very usefull to me, you will need a analog multimeter for testing, even though you have a digital one. Something are best measured with analog multimeter just like this one. Very accurate, on my 220V otlet it shows around 225-220 V.
Cons: -multimeter test leads feel very very cheap so I bought other multimeter test leads found on DX.
Other: Buy it, it's cheap, it does the job, and if you're reading this, and you're on this page you definetely need it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's big, so the screen is easy to read. The multimeter fits easily in your hand and won't fall out, unless you're clumsy. The cables are long enough to work comfortable.
Cons: The multimeter is very light and doesn't seem to very sturdy. I hope I don't drop the meter, because I think that it will not survive the fall. When I took the meter out of the box, the top part was not attached well to the bottom part. I had to click it in. After that the meter was well assembled. But still I'm not very sure it has a long lifespend.
Other: If you need analog multi meter, this thing works well. But don't use it professionaly, because it will surely fall apart within weeks.
