Pros: upgraded to g-box easily XBMC works like a charm Not issues with wifi or lan connections plays 1080p videos smoothly can be turned off/on remotely HDMI works fine USB mouse and keyboard can be connected

Cons: little hot after a while. homepage can be better.

Other: great device for use as HTTPC with correct software. I have it in my room and I can see my downloaded videos to my SAMBA disc using XBMC.

Pros: * Has usb ports & sd card slot, easy to transfer files & flash box. * Has an unofficial support site through gbox midnight * can connect to old crt tv and also hdmi * played any files i threw at it. * Build quality is excellent.

Cons: * Xbmc is not good as apple tv2, as still underdevelopment * video playback is not as smooth as atv2 (but its still good enough) * cant move icons with remote need to connect mouse

Other: If you want xbmc on your tv, i think this box is the next best box next to atv2. you can use gbox midnight roms at your own risk!, i have tested quite few roms on my box and is still working. link to roms http://androidtvbox.us

Pros: - Great price compared to ATV2 - Plug and Play - Lots of connectivity options (4 USB and SD card) - XBMC!! Nuf said!

Cons: - Flimsy remote - Google Play Store does not launch?

Other: So after day 1 of owning this device I'm quite satisfied. There is still plenty of testing left to be done, such as getting Google Play Store to work, and testing the wifi connection from another floor. Perhaps a firmware upgrade (G-Box Midnight 2.2) may help with the lag of HD video in Navi-X...if not I may try installing Static's barebone build (as mentioned in a previous post) or J1nx's Linux build. I also want to test out video playback from USB and SD card. Do yourself a favor and purchase an airmouse. Navigating through XBMC and the android menus with the generic remote is ok, but typing and browsing the web is just tedious! I ordered the airmouse with built-in keyboard for android which plugs in via USB dongle and it works great! I'll re-post an update in the weeks to come.

Pros: 4 USB Ports!!!, Plug and Play, supports usb mouse and keyboard, easy to use and good quality for low price.

Cons: After a couple of hours working turns a bit hot. So, in hot environments it's probably it will loss performance... It didn't include a HDMI cable, it should!

Other: To sum up, it's a very good choice for a home media center. Can transform your TV in a Smart TV at low cost.

Pros: Can re-flash with dedicated xbmc linux firmware from j1nx Plays 1080p content without issues Lots of USB ports optical and analog audio out This hardware has full acceleration support in xbmc

Cons: The remote is pretty cheap - the rubber buttons aren't the best Current xbmc firmware only supports 2TB partitions on external drives Some xbmc plugins aren't very fast (dual core would be nice) Came with a US plug on the power adapter

Other: The best value tv box! This really is as good as a pivos xios once running alternate firmware
