Android 4.0 Google TV Player w/ 1GB RAM / 4GB ROM / HDMI / YUV / Coaxial / CVBS / Ethernet / Wi-Fi

Pros: Excellent video quality in 720p video file, extrapolates neatly to 1080p. Good audio through PCM (you don't find many devices supporting PCM these days). Very fast response to commands.

Cons: I don't see support for any language either than English and Chinese, though it's advertised as supporting a bunch. WiFi reception is weak, while my Lenovo laptop, in the same spot, gets excellent reception. Perhaps that's why I can't see anything in Youtube. I get the menu, but when I click a movie it times out.

Other: A little expensive in its class, but dead cheap if you compare what we used to pay until a year ago for any kind of player. And this is a computer!

Pros: I come nicely packed in box with manual itself is not indicated on the website but the media player has a space at the bottom to a 2.5 SATA HD but not yet tested to see if it works. Connecting the media player it start a aplicatication to start configuration and the first impression was very good speed for open applications is very fast setup the resolution at 1080p and there were no problems in the implementation of the movies I tested. the remote responds well to commands but unfortunately it interfered with my tv. The flash also works well tested watching videos on youtube and the resolution is optimal. It has a mini-USB output indicating connection to pc (otg?) but could not get the computer to recognize. Summing up the processing is quite fast good amount of memory the image is flawless and complete audio pcm making this one of the best media player options dealextreme today despite the price is not slow.

Cons: I'm having problems with the wifi connection as the device disappears so I'm using the ethernet network. the manufacturer is not identified precluding any updates. The system has an app update but it does not connect to remote server. The audio has pops when opening and closing applications and intermittently.

Other: If someone discover the real manufacturer or an update would be interesting to start a post on the forum.

Pros: Android based. If you are an Android user, then it makes sense. Played every file I have except .VOB. Played but choppy. Plugged in MS wireless keyboard/mouse 5000 and it worked right away! 2.5" Sata bay in bottom nice feature.

Cons: WiFi is pathetic. 20ft from router and won't work. Instructions are useless, and print too small. Needs downloadable .pdf Keyboard sensitivity is too high and can't find where to adjust.(sensitivity fine for computer or other media players) Video output to both HDMI and A/V required a bit of playing, but got it working. Some icons don't run ie YouTube - have to go through a browser.

Other: For the price, it plays well and displays well. Some software adjustments would make this a fantastic media player. Think tablet on your TV!

Pros: Wifi works fine (it's only 3 meters far from my ap), it reads every video format I've tested, I connected a 2TB USB hard disk and it works fine. The quality of the video output is great, and the optical audio output too.

Cons: The only con I've found is that it hasn't bluetooth.

Other: I think after testing it that it's a great option to convert your simple full hd flat tv into a smart tv. Also it has a good aspect, nice to put on your living room furniture.
