Cons: -A little tweaking is required to get the most out of the device -- It's a much worse device without the latest firmware. Most of the pros don't apply to the Android 2.2 device. I bought 2 and they were both equipped with the Android 2.2 firmware.
-An SD card is required equipment. The built-in flash memory isn't directly accessible at all.
-A USB hard drive would be a good idea.
-A wireless USB mouse is definitely recommended, because the remote isn't very good.
-No WIFI support (you can use a USB wifi card, the option exists)
-No Bluetooth support (no bluetooth support in image)
-No 3g support, obviously.

Other: I was looking for something exactly like my Android phone that I could hook up to my TV set and use to replace my desktop computer, particularly for online video.
Before the updated firmware, this wasn't it. Afterwards, this is exactly what I was looking for. It may be what you're looking for as well.

Cons: It has some problems, in particular I have some problems were Video does not come out from the device, not sure if It's only me or a common problem, but usually works after restarting it a couple of times. I think this could be related to the latest firmware.

Other: Excelente device for the price... not very fast but good enough.

Pros: - Plays videos
- Plays music
- It's a fully functional Android device with limitless capabilities
- Looks cool
- USB ports are strong enough to handle a 2.5" USB harddrive (directly) + wifi, usb pendrive, wireless mouse receiver thru passive usb hub at the same time

Cons: - Can get a little warm (no effect on performance)
- The device is pretty lightweight, even the HDMI cable can make it tow it away (not really a con)
- I could not get used to the remote contoller (maybe my fault) so I am using it with a mouse (way better)

Other: I am very happy with the device now, but it took me some time to find the proper apk's for subtitled divx movies, etc.
If you need a mediaplayer with extras for your TV, this is the device for you.

Pros: This device starts by playing all available compressed video formats and more then you realize that it also came with a ethernet connection and you try internet... OUTSTANDING! YOU ARE SURFING STRAIGHT AHEAD! then you surf a little and you find NETFLIX.... log in... and IT WORKS! Angry birds... no problem! USB DONGLE for mice and keyboard... NO PROBLEM! i personally tested it with all types of memory cards up to 8 gb and runs like on wheels

Cons: as many of these devices it generates a lot of heat and the heatsink that comes in the device might not be enough. only 2 usb for a device that can do a lot more!

Other: Simply the best price quality Android Media Player on market! And this is my third one!

Other: Very good.

Pros: - came with rooted 2.3.4 firmware; - open android market, tons of software; - works with all my wireless mouses/keyboards; - decent video quality via AV out, screen can be adjusted (centered/resized); - plays smoothly from network shares mounted with cifsmanager.

Cons: - not really a cons but becomes hot after a while; - can't power it off just with mouse without remote. :)

Other: excellent player, really worth its price.

Pros: Very good quality, it works fine at 1080p smoothly. You can plug an USB mouse/keyboard without problem. HD/Pendrive USB OK! Also works with WiFi USB (I tested succesfully with Encore WiFi USB) You can download everything you want from Google Play/Market!

Cons: It becomes a little warm after a few minutes, but does not affect its operation. It takes a while to start. Remote control should have more features like a keyboard. So it would not be necessary to connect a USB keyboard to use easily.

Other: I like this Product!

Pros: I like its small form factor as it fits well next to the Tv and you can carry around without using up much space. I can play ful 1080p resolution on all media files I have and external USB drive work flawlessly with it. I managed to install android 4.04 and got the remote working with out much hustle. Its a good android media player. Mine came with a pair of batteries while its shown to be sold separately.

Cons: Its would have been handy to have extra USB ports not just 2. The remote has some key misses once in a while but is still quite usable though some buttons don't have usage.

Pros: Cool Gadget. Very useful. No evident flaws or misfunctions. Fairly easy to configure, at least for an IT professional like me. Fast and well balanced hardware (memory, processor, etc), the system runs smoothly and without hangups. Better quality than i expected for the price i paid. I recomended it to my friends and colleges.

Cons: - The Netflix app that automatically downloaded from the google web store dont work with this product. I had to find in internet an older version to make it work. The android continuously offered to upgrade the app, dont do it! The app just cease to function. - The remote control is almost unusable, at least for web navigation. Have buttons that don´t do anything and many web pages (netflix and others) responds in erratic ways to the commands. Im buying the wireless mini keyboard with trackball incorporated to replace it. I find the remote is only usefull to turn on/off the equipment, set the volume and navigate the main screen and simple apps. - It neither has wireless connection so i´m forced to buy a wireless dongle to use my house´s wifi router. But it works just fine with it. Again, its very good for the low price.

Other: Good for household use. Not enough for professional use. I'm considering to buy more advanced and expensive units for the company where i work.

Pros: I have my movies in my personal PC and i set up the MP in my bedroom. It is an excelent option for playing music and movies with remote storage.

Cons: it is not good let the device on a lot of time. it hangs. no netflix. many applications hang the device, like angry birds. or heavy web pages. there are many application that doesnt work well without touchscreen, or not work at all. if you want a mini pc with android, it sucks.

Other: buy it, you wont regret.
