Anti-Static/Static Removal Prevent Shock Keychain

Pros: The one I received is blue in color. Which looks cool. the key rinf that is attached to it is of good quality too.

Cons: I don't know if the bulb inside is working or not as I have not seen it lighted up. It may be due to a low static discharge.

Other: Buy it if you have frequent static shocks

everyone asking what is it and when i am answer " it's to prevent shocking " they say - "wow it's good idea !! i need one for my self "
so i guess it's the overal result of ownership of this product is raising up my ego

Cons: mm - i am really - but really not sure how to use it .
i guess i need to touch a surface which should shock me to discarge the electric static .. however - you need to remmeber to do it each time - which is pain in the ...

Other: if you really suffer from electric static and you remmeber to discharge a static by touching a surface - i guess this is product for you . but - not for me

Pros: This product is literally from heaven. It's save me for suffering in pain! Usually in winter, when weather is quite dry. I get almost from everyting an electricity shock. That can be sometimes just annoying, but sometimes it's really hurt. Especially when you in flagged floor, like me. Then you touch something metal like coat rack, you get shock that you can almost see if its dark. And when this happen, it's hurt, a lot. Or you can get shock, if you take out your sweater.
What this product do, is that it will absorb the electricity from your hand to it's small resistor and turn it to heat and light. So then you wont get shock.
To use this, u need to know when your hand is charged from electricity, usually if hand is dry and you take off sweater. Then take other side of product and the other side need to touch metal.

Cons: actually, for this cheap and usefull product I can't find anything con.

I did not know that this type of thing even exists around. And I have learned something else thanks to my friend.

Other: Really a good deal. Thanks a lot. I guess that this thing must have relieved those people who complain about static on their fingers. We would never know as this is only what they will know.

Pros: I bought it without hoping it could realy work. But it DOES!
No more static discharges. I even saw the litle LED inside it turned on once when I touched one end and a friend of mine touched the other end.
It kinda looks nice on your car keys.
Everybode wants to know what it is, and when they do, they want to know where did you bought it from.
A nice Idea and a nice gift.

Cons: Not an well designed thing, with no expensive materials. It should be cheaper. A lot cheaper.

Other: Nice thing to have or to give as a gift.
Recomended if you have static discharges issues.

+ Not small, that was a shock for this price

+ It looks like it will break when you attach it with your keys.

Other: + A nice thought and a simple problem solver. If you get shocked a lot; get one and have a better life. Static electric shocks are not fun at all.

Pros: Works as expected, really avoids static shocks. It just became a habit to touch metal with the keychain before touching with my hand.

Cons: None, really. Well built and performs as announced.

Other: It's a small gadget and i keep it atached to the car keys. Saved me from getting shocked several times.

Pros: Product does what it needs to do. I have bought two keychains. One is hanging on my car keys so i can use it whenever i get out of the car. I have never been shocked since i started using it :-) The second one is in my toolbox that i use for when i work on computers, this way i can get rid of any static electricity that i might have before working on the electronics of a computer to prevent the electronics getting damaged.

Cons: No cons found on this product.

Other: Very good product for a cheap price

Pros: I got 6 of these in time for winter, for loved ones and friends who habitually complain of "suffering" from static shocks. I have already given away two, after testing them, of course! As per eHow's instructions, I dragged my feet across the carpet to charge myself with static electricity. Then, I touched the free end of the unit to the metal door knob to experience an ultra-short light show. :)

Cons: None that I can think off. I will be giving the third to my colleague tomorrow.

Pros: Great build quality!
I have chromed handles on the inside of my car and, believe me, if I don't touch them with this keychain i ALWAYS get the nastiest shock.
At night, you can even see the light going off when you touch something that is charged.
Doesn't even break when tossing it in your pocket with all the keys.

Cons: no cons really... just remember to use it before touching that damn door that always gives you a statick shock :P

Other: more than 2 years of use and still in perfect condition.
