Cons: - Is not compatible with the original CoreDuo Macbook A1184 !!! Although it powers this MacBook it cannot be charged in this model. Works flawless with later Core2Duo-MacBook models.

Pros: This is a very good battery. It fits perfectly in my MacBook and has been recognized by it immediately. Different to another reviews I have noticed that the white color is very close to the original. I have just received it, so I cannot evaluate it duration, but it works very good for some hours before needs to be recharged. It really looks like original. The price is superb, specially if compared with my nearest Apple Store...

Cons: It takes like a month to receive the battery from my order, I think this has been because of the chinese new year week, but this is very, very much time to wait for a needed battery.

Other: Very good low cost battery. I were surprised because this is my first order and I were not very sure to receive it. Now I will buy a Dell 1525 battery too. This service is not very good if you are in a hurry, but those prices are the best I have found.

Pros: It does the job! It is really cheap, because you pay almost 100 euro's for 1 Apple en for this it is arround 30

Cons: not 5200mAh but 2550mAh doesn't fit entirely...

Other: You get what you pay for! It works fine and i think lobnger than the Apple.... these are programmed so after 3 years it says it is not good anymoer... even i worked the day before 3 hours on my macbook... this is not has Apple Firmware so i think it would go on... in this point of view... power... we will see...

Pros: Works fine with my 1st gen C2D macbook, get about 2-2,5h per charge. Incredible value.

Cons: Does not seem to communicate very well with osx regarding charge, it's constantly jumping between 6 and 12 hours of remaining battery life on the estimate but then just dies after about 2-2,5 hours. I guess you don't get a warning because osx has a hard time calculating the charge. However, I don't care, I know I at least get 2 good hour out of it and use it that way.

Other: Excellent value, as I said, O can live without the low battery warning at this price. It gave new life and usability to my old macbook.

Pros: Very good value for money. A good replacement for the original. Fits my macbook perfectly. The white color is very close to the original.

Cons: Sometimes the remaining time reading that the OS reports is not accurate and the computer shots down when it tells that there are still about 30 minutes left. Not a big issue for me as I usually don't get to these low battery levels.

Other: Already using it for about 6 months and it work well. I'm about to work with this battery on my macbook for about 3 hours. Excellent value.

-it feels sturdy,heavy and of good quality

Cons: -color could be better
-the battery isn't as good as the official apple one

Other: Unless you make alot of use of your MB, this will do fine, if you do use it intensly, invest a (lot) more in a official apple one.
But this one has an absolutely awsome price point.

Pros: - It's way cheaper than the original one. I'd pay U$ 250 for a new one here in Brazil.
- The color is pretty the same
- LED botton works

Cons: - Doesn't work ok with OSX regarding charge. It jumps from 75% to 7%! And on 5% my Macbook turns off. Very disappointing.
- I still couldn't reach 2 hours of use. I get 1 hour of hard use, not more than that.

Other: Next time, i'll buy the original one, but you're not a very intensive user, it will work fine for you.

Pros: Bearing in mind that this is not an original from Apple, it is way cheaper than one and although the charge will never be similar to an original battery, it is still quite good, when you take into account the price.
- Build quality;
- Color (very close if not exactly the same);
- Package (it came in a very neat package);
- LEDs that indicate the amount of charge, just like in the original;
- Price.

Cons: As mentioned, it is not an original from Apple, so it is normal to expect some minor quality. This is true especially for the time it holds charge, which is much less than an original Apple battery.
- Discharge time (much faster than an original);
- Overall life cycle span (amount of charges and discharges before it gets depleted).

Other: Taking into account the price you pay, I would recommend it to anyone who needs a substitute for an Apple battery for a cheap price, as long as you don't mind having less battery time available than with the original Apple battery.
In other words: yes, it is cheaper and yes, it holds much less charge. But nevertheless it works as it is supposed to. =)

Pros: Cheap compared to the original apple replacement. It works fine for 2 years, the last month one battery cell starts to inflate and now the battery is useless

Cons: less duration than the original, 2.5 hours. The "inflate" effect after 2 years.

Other: Not recomended if you required a lot of mobiity with your macbook. If you use your laptop mainly at home, or mainly with power connected is good solution.
