Apple iPhone 3G 3.7V Rechargeable Battery

Pros: It*s cheap, and the shipment was prety fast! I got my order in one week. but that is all the pro´s I can think of.

Cons: It does not work! I bought this for my iphone 3g 16gb , after replacement the apple logo appeard and it didnt go on. after I put a different battery in it, the phone worked correctly. the battery is a little thicker than the original, but it does fit!

Other: it´s cheap, but not worth it. It may work for the iphone 3g 8gb, I dont know, as far as i know this battery doesnt work for the iphone 3g 16gb.

Pros: It is cheap. It seems to hold a charge as well as the original battery. I have just recently finished charging it. It comes with 70% charge. It is very easy to install.

Cons: None.

Other: I installed it and it worked. The previous poster mentioned a problem. His device didn't boot past the apple logo after replacing the battery. I experienced the same problem. It happened to be that I forgot to screw one of the screws that tightens the battery against the contacts on the motherboard. That fixed the problem. But in the process of installing this battery I somehow ruined my Wifi. I don't know what happened but now the range of my wifi is 10% of what it was before. I am going to try resetting the device to factory settings, see if that helps.

Pros: Apple iPhone 3G 3.7V Rechargeable Battery - no problems with installation to the iphone - have to correct dimensions and connector so it fits to the iphone capacity looks OK, it keeps up the same time as my original battery, maybe it is even better the goods come in reasonable time, packing was good enough to protect from damage during transports

Cons: I don't know if there is any additional electronics to protect the battery from overheating and other issues related to the recharging

Pros: Great price for replacement 3G phone. Cost for OEM replacement is insane, and sending back the phone to Apple is not an option. The shipping alone is 3 times more!!

Cons: The battery is good, nothing really wrong with it except it probably has a little less capacity and maybe life (charge recharge cycles may be a little down compared to stock).

Other: If you need to keep your old 3G running (use it as an ipod), then you probably need a new battery by now. This is the best price for a battery, as long as you are comfortable in the process.

Pros: -Cheap
-Replaces warn out original apple battery.

Cons: Very hard to install.
I actually broke one of the connectors while taking the phone apart. Now my phone doesn't have a working earpiece, so i have to use speakerphone.
It was my fault though, i've taken the phone apart before without issue.
I was following an online guide and the colors of my connector were reversed. I stupidly forced the wrong part of the connector apart and it broke.
Not a fault of the battery, but just pointing out that the install is involved.

Other: Buy it if you are good with small connectors.

Pros: Works perfectly. My battery life had been less than 10 minutes of casual use before I ordered this replacement, and now it lasts for more than a week of casual use (maybe more - it's still going!). I am delighted to have a useful phone again, at an exceptional price.

Cons: None.

Other: Shipment came within a few weeks. Battery was exactly as advertised, and even though I have never taken apart a phone before, I was able to successfully follow some online instructions and replace the battery myself. My phone works better than ever now! Very satisfied.
