Apple iPhone 3GS 3.7V 4.51Whr Rechargeable Battery

Pros: Looks to work fine. Replacment and Original battery are made in china. Comes 50% charged. Installation took about 1 hour because it was my first time. I didn't want to break/tear any ribbons. Go to ifixit.com for free instructions.

Cons: Unrelated to the item.. but my order was stuck in 'packaging' for 2 months before I sent an inquiry about it. Then miraculously it was shipped a day after my support request.

Other: Inexpensive replace! $10 for a new battery vs over $50 for someone to install it.

Pros: The battery is the same as the original, comes with 50% of charge. Now mi 3GS is like new, after charging the beautiful 100% takes very long to go down to 99% Im very happy with the purchase, i really recommend this battery.

Cons: None that i found yet, time will really judge the lifetime.

Other: Very cheap for the quality of the product, dont think it twice, just get it and your iphone will be as good as new.

Pros: Looks like the original battery. Fits perfectly after removing the original battery witch was mounted with double-sided tape (Had to bend carefully to remove the old battery.)

Cons: The battery was only charged to 10% but that is not really a con.

Other: This battery gives the iPhone 3G a new life again. Now my son can now inherit this old phone

Pros: This battery has a really good capacity (the same as the one in my iPhone when it was new) and charges quickly. It looks and feels solid and it is packaged well. The fit is perfect as it is identical to the original one. Price is really cheap compared to having the battery replaced at a service center.

Cons: It's not really a con, as it's something you should know, but: it's not exactly 100% easy to install. 8 minuscule screws need to be taken off the phone, 7 tiny connectors need to be disconnected, and you need to apply a bit of force to get the old battery out. I found the hardest part was actually putting the screws back into their holes, they kept falling between the back case and the motherboard.

Other: An excellent replacement, but you need to have firm hands and be up for the task of installing it.

Pros: Looks exactly like the original. Charge lasts as long as the original.

Cons: It is scarry taking iPhone apart to put this battery in. It is not trivial. I was wondering the whol time if it would work when I put it back together. But it did work and no worries since then.

Other: Great deal but be prepared to take phone apart and put back together - it is not as easy as it looks on youtube.

Pros: Works.
Life of time charger is good. 4 days without 3G and Wireless.
Turning 3G and Wireless (using common web applications, for exemple: Facebook, Twitter, Email and Instagm) works around 2 days.
Easy to use. (thanks for many youtube videos teaching it).

Cons: No 3M dual face adhesive tape included to fix a bat on iphone. I used old tape from old bat to fix it.
Quality of manufacturing is low. Manufacturer can make better.
Electrical contacts (4 pins to connect a bat to motherboard) was softly oxidized. I need o clean it before install.

Other: * Manufacturer can make better build (body) quality.
* A protection on four pins is recommended to avoid oxidation.
* A 3M adhesive dual tape is very important accessory to fix a battery.

Pros: It´s like a good battery, good constrution.

Cons: Doesn´t work, i think that the part number (APN:616-0431) is not compatible with my 3GS iPhone (APN-616-0435), it´s rebooting every 5 minutes. After re-assembly with the old battery, the phone return to work fine. Thanks Lord!!!

Other: The battery may be good, but incompatible between different part numbers. I suggest look your PN BEFORE buy. Dealextreme should be alert this inconvenient.

Pros: Looks genuine

Cons: When I installed it in my phone it turned out that, it is actually about 1mm thicker then the actual battery. And therefore caused the motherboard the sit higher then it should. With that being said, I was unable to put the phone back together normally. I did not receive it for about 4 months after I ordered it.

Other: Do not buy it. It is not worth the money.

Pros: This is a perfect replacement if your 3GS battery is suddenly empty when it had a 80% charge level just a few minutes before.

Cons: None! The hard part was disassembling the complete device. The tutorials on Ifixtit.com are great for this.

Other: A great cheap replacement part.

Pros: Looks like the original, i think it IS orignal. Cames with the adhesive on the rear and it was really easy to install. Now I have 2 days of battery life while I had only half a day before.

Cons: No cons at all

Other: If your battery life has shortened too much you should replace your old battery with this one. I'm using it for a month now and it didn't give any problem
