Arc Illuminated Magnifier Microscope (80X with Scale)

Pros: Nice usable magnification and easy readable scale.
Inverted T shaped scale with 0 in the middle and 2 mm left, right and up.
Can measure things up to 4 mm.
Scale division = 0.05 mm.
Good white LED light - doesn't look impressive form the 'outside' but is quite good in use.
Very, very easy to use.

Cons: The scale is off with +10% (on mine).
The battery compartment is a bit too tight - wonder if I'll ever get the first inserted battery out again.
I would prefer a spring to hold the batteries in place instead of this very tight fit.
The light tends to flicker a little but since it's mostly when it's opened and closed, it's not a major concern in use.
The build quality is not impressive. It's not terribly either, but don't expect too much.

Other: Overall I'm surprised.
My expectations were not the highest when I ordered, but this product did exceeded them.
There are of course the battery compartment issues, but the microscope does what it's supposed to. And very well. The precision of the scale was a disappointment, since it adds around 10%, which I find is too much. But it's really great to get an idea of how big the things you're looking at really are, so I wouldn't want it without the scale.
It's not a precision tool, though.

Pros: I liked the scale. Very useful for measuring mesh screens. The lighting is strong. Easy to use.

Cons: Part of the flashlight comes off very easy. With that he loses contact with the lens body. So is a bit blurry.

Parte da lanterna que contém a luz sai muito fácil. Com isso ele perde o contato com o corpo da lente. Por isso fica um pouco embassada.

Other: I think it was a good acquisition. In Brazil this product costs about 3 times more.
