What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Really easy to use, because the codes are easily found on the internet. It's easy to attach with the Arduino board, just attach and program, that easy. Good for using with the prototyping kits of dx.com, and controlling 2 Stepper or 4 DC motors, AND one or two servo.
Cons: The output current of the L9110 IC is low, making it unuseful for motors with higher current than 0,6A. That's why it is only useful for low-torque motors.
Other: A must-have for anyone who likes playing with arduino supplies.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Built exactly to spec. Quality assembly.
Cons: Built exactly to spec. Mine arrived in a bubble wrap envelope with some bent header pins, but I was able to straighten them.
Other: A great bargain if you don't plan on exceeding the original 16V design spec. And if you want to run 24V, it's probably still a bargain as long as you don't mind doing a little soldering. The 35V caps I used are $1.29 each at Radio Shack, and I'm sure you can get them much cheaper if you don't need them immediately.
