Sensor Shield V4.0 for Arduino (Works with Official Arduino Boards)

Pros: * Cheap! I can't find somewhere else. Other ecommerces are expensive, or high shipping tax or poor build quality; * Very good build quality. Good headers, connectors and PCB; * Fits perfectlly in my Arduino. This shield helps me to build a project.

Cons: * The item arrived smashed. The male header were crooked. But it is dx's delivery fault. It is easy to fix with a plier; * There is a 5.0 version of this shield, but is really expensive. No explanation.

Other: I recomment it!

Pros: A good shield, the sensor shield lets you connect a wide variety of modules (temperature sensors, humidity sensors, etc) to the Arduino via an easy to use interface. The shield breaks out all the I/O pins on the Uno and then pairs them with the Vcc and Gnd, so using a 3 pin connector (Dupont connector, or the like), you can easily hook up devices.

Cons: None, really. Rather than using more expensive, female headers with extra long pins, this design uses a staggered set of headers (male to connect to Uno, while retaining the female headers up top). Luckily, the alignment of the female headers on top still allow for stacking of other shields.

Other: A good shield to get, especially if you have a large number of devices to plug in. You could use a protoboard/solderless breadboard, but the sensor shield makes everything look much neater.

Pros: Good build quality, all the soldering points are very well made, the connectors quality is good too. Easy connection with arduino UNO, good price for a very good product. - PT-BR Boa qualidade de fabricação, todos os pontos de solda foram muito bem feitos, a qualidadde dos conectores tambem é muito boa. Cons: Like other components for arduino shoud be with some kind of label naming the connectors and making an general explanation about his use. PT-BR Como outros componentes para Arduino, deveria vir com algum tipo de etiqueta nomeando os conectores e dando uma explicacao geral sobre seu uso e funcionamento.

Other: Good product, good price

Pros: Product Cheap and very useful. In French : Produit pas cher et très utile.

Cons: Above, check the solders, I found a drop of solder between contacts and between the +5 V and GND, this is really sad, the rest of the product being perfect. In French: Avant tout, tester les soudures j'ai trouvé des gouttes de soudure entre certains contacts, notamment entre le +5V et la masse, c'est vraiment dommage, le reste de la carte étant parfait.

Other: what a pity, if I plugged directly product without check, it is certain that I would have had serious problems. This is not because the product is not expensive, the manufacturer must sacrifice the verification ... In French: Quel dommage, si j'avais branché directement ce produit sans le verifier, il est certain que j'aurais eu de serieux problèmes. Ce n'est pas parce que le produit n'est pas cher, que le fabriquant doit sacrifier la vérification...
