Pros: -IMCO's are the best lighter you're going to find for under a hundred dollars. The company is the 2nd oldest lighter company in the world, and is one of the best. They are a very famous and reputable company.
-Wick/fuel tube can be pulled out after lighting and used as a standalone 'candle' for lighting tobacco pipes easily
-Much better than Zippo: smaller, no tools required to change flint or do anything, can use existing zippo fuel/flints/wicks that are sold everywhere, hand never touches the flint wheel
-Fit/finish is excellent, and IMCO lighters have a 10 year warranty. Check around at antique sites, you'll find 40-50 year old versions of the same lighter that are still working and in use
-Durable, these things have a proven track record, and there's nothing that's going to wear out in a lifetime (except wick/flint replacement)
-Small size, similar dimensions to a Bic lighter, but this one is shorter in height.
-Snuffer inhibits fuel loss.
-Good steel. I dropped mine on concrete and made a sharp burr, it polished out nicely with a sharpening stone.
-Lights every time
-Slimmest of the imco three lighters
Cons: -Fire hazard if you drop it in your car, it won't go out on its own unless you close the lid or blow really hard.
-Recommended to use the IMCO wicks for replacement (about $2 for a 'maintenance kit' with wicks and flints online). Factory replacement wicks have a metal wire in them to ease installation. Wire snaps off after you're done. You'd have to get a poking tool to get a zippo wick through the hole otherwise since the wick holder is tight by default.
-Potential to rust. As far as I know they do not use stainless in these, don't keep them in wet pants all day. Older antique ones sometimes have very minor rust/corrosion. You'd have to replace the fuel anyways if you got it wet, so you might as well wipe off any water at the same time, so this shouldn't be an issue.
-The slimmer profile on the streamline vs the triplex or other models offered on dealextreme likely reduces the amount of fuel you can carry. I haven't run out, but I top mine off every few days just in case. I don't have a zippo to compare with, but I'm pretty sure it's quite a bit less fuel than a zippo holds by default, but zippos evaporate much more fuel than this thing will, sooo....
-Lacks the adjustable windproof screen that the triplex has
Other: The three IMCO lighter available here (the streamline, triplex and junior) are the best lighters you're ever going to find for under a hundred dollars (note, all the IMCO lighters on here are called streamline in error, THIS is the only streamline, 37391 is the triplex and 37392 is the junior). If you want a great lighter, get one.. You should also consider the triplex ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.37391 ) .. This lighter is slightly fatter, but you gain more fuel capacity, and it has an adjustable wind screen which should be more windproof than this lighter, and also acts like 'throttle' on how big the flame gets.. Triplex is more gadgety and featureful, this streamline is smaller. Windproofing on this lighter is more than good enough and shouldn't be an issue however, so I'm not sure how useful the extra windproofing on the triplex would be..

Pros: Looks good and ignites reliably. The wick is protected by a small metal cup when the lighter is closed, ensuring the gasoline doesn't evaporate too quickly.
Cons: Some edges aren't finely machines and will scratch your skin a bit. It takes some strength to open/fire it -- albeit that may be a good child-proofing. Not windproofed by any means, but that's a common trait of gasoline lighters.
Other: Good buy :)

Pros: Stunningly rugged and unpretentious. Economical, durable, does not freeze in the optimal use of the wind. Very easy to maintain.Extremely durable construction with it simply can not do anything to happen. It does not kill.
Cons: In my opinion they are not. It performs its functions in any situation and under any circumstances. Always and everywhere!
Other: This thing is really useful, it's worth the money and even more. I have never regretted buying it, and hope you will not regret it, too.

Pros: - lights every time
- very compact and light
- looks very cool and stylish
- great build quality - no loose parts at all, feels like a pistol or similar real weapon
- has enough space for engraving (if you're planning to make a gift)
- child proof (not too easy to light up)
Cons: - not wind proof at all - it's really easy to extinguish flame by blowing
- quite a small flame, no ajusting at all
- not very easy to light, but you'll get used to it. It's rathe r a pro if you think about it as it is child proof
Other: Small and light stylish lighter. I recommend it for smokers, but not for use in really windy places.

Pros: I collect cool lighters and this one is top quality 10/10!
Only seen this lighter for sale in store once and price was much higher then DX sells this lighter for
Works GREAT
LOOKS good
no problems
Cons: No complaints, this is exactly as pictured and advertised
Other: Buy it, cheaper then a Zippo, looks cooler and will get noticed more than a zippo... this type of lighter has been aaround longer then zippo anyways!

Pros: This Austrian lighter must be the best lighter I have ever owned. Lights every time, simple and great build quality. Has room on the sides for optional engraving.
Where you remove to refill, you can store extra flints for emergency.
100% stainless steel.
Flame can be easily adjusted if needed.
Cons: The price is a bit high. Although if you use a lighter day in and day out it is a must.
Not really wind proof.
Other: I recommend it for smokers, camping.
An all round great lighter.

Pros: This lighter is great! It has a very nice look to it. It lights every time. It's easy to fill. It's easy to change the flint. It feels good in your hand. Has extra flint storage. It has a nice price. Seems to be somewhat wind proof. Seems to be pretty well made. It is very slim and compact.
Cons: Not to many cons at all. For me it seems to do it's job fine. * One thing that should be noted is that it goes through flints pretty quickly. ( I don't mind however as flints are pretty cheap. )
Other: For the price, it seems to be a very nice lighter. It lights every time and is easy to use. * Buy it if you need a nice go to lighter. 5 stars!!!

Pros: -really attractive look and feel -lights every time, really reliable mechanics -good conversation piece -holds a fair amount of fluid -fluid doesnt evaporate as fast as some, has a little cap that covers the wick (no actual seal on it though)
Cons: -some sharp corners which can be a little irritating -when in use the metal on the sides gets very hot -goes through flint faster than other mechanisms
Other: -all around nice lighter, buy one
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good quality. Economic. Lightweight. I'm a fan of this product. Very good product. It is extremely easy to use. I am collecting 20 or more pieces. It is because it is attractive goods. It will not get bored since structure is also elaborate. This item is loved although I do not smoke a cigarette.
Cons: Not a bad place to be found of this product.
Other: A price is also satisfactory. Quality is also satisfactory. However, it worries about whether stock decreases.

Pros: -Sleek design, fits well in the little side pocket of most jeans -Very wel build, sturdy as a rock -Easy to refill with standard lighter fluid -lights everytime -Spare room for an extra flint (saved me once)
Cons: -Only con i can think of is that the side vents can't be closed, wich could result in evaporation of the lighter fluid. However, this is probably not the case, since the lid contains a cap wich goes over the wick
Other: Buy it, it will be the best lighter you will ever buy
