    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Works as expected: Glows bright at 12 volts, does not light up at 4 volts. The tester end is a sharp point, which is better than the usual screwdriver end (in my opinion). This kind of pen is more convenient to use than a multimeter, when you only need to know if a given wire is live or not. Perfect for working on cars and motorcycles.

    Cons: The light is incandescent, not a led (as claimed by the description currently (pun intended)). Cannot (or shouldn't) be carried in pockets, due to the sharp end.

    Other: Quality product, and the price is right.
