Auto PIR Keyhole IR Sensor 4-LED White Light Lamp (1*AA)

Pros: It used to be a challenge to get the key in the hole, the right way at night. Not anymore, the lamp lights up as your hand approaches the keyhole and I'm able to see which way the key should go in. The lights stay on for 5 seconds each time the motion sensor is activated, thus saving power on the single AA battery that powers it.

Cons: For the daylight sensor to work well (ie. not switch on the lights in daytime), the surroundings need to be quite bright. Even swinging the door backwards into the house will make the daylight sensor think it's night already. It's a small inconvenience which shouldn't be much of an issue.

Other: Overall this is a great device that you won't regret having around.

Pros: Fix it near the lock on your door and at night you will be able to find the correct key and where the key hole is. One of those gadgets that you wonder how you lived without. Uses a single primary battery. Sticky pad has held very well even in damp cold weather.

Cons: Still illuminates in daylight.

Other: For the price you won't be disappointed.

Pros: It's tiny! Works perfectly enough light production to see ' the keyhole'

Cons: Operated by only one battery ; I'm not sure if this is a con, but I wonder how this device operates with conditions below zero. During wintertime, when daylight is sparse, i will need this device the most. See what happens... Maybe I have to move the battery to a warm(er) place within (like inside my home) and use a separate batteryholder and wiring to keep the device working during low temperatur conditions.

Other: Works as designed. I'm happy with it. Probably going to buy a few more

Pros: Totally fantastic item with great potential. It lasts amazing long on a single AA battery, how does it do it, when other e; electronics can't even last 1/4 as long. It is surprisingly bright, so perfect for it's task of illuminating key holes. Sensitivity is perfect, perhaps too sensitive, as it will activate just on walking past, but it doesn't effect it's incredible battery life, which I've found to be average 8 months.

Cons: I knock it too easily off it's holder on the door. The holder attaches very securely, but the light to the holder doesn't. I thought I'd beat it and double stick it directly to the door without the holder, but then I couldn't change the battery. I wonder why this isn't made with a solar panel to charge the battery. Then it would never need a battery change. It doesn't fit under my toilet seat as an automatic light when I take a wizz late at night, but then, it's wasn't designed for that.

Other: Buy one, you won't regret it. There are so many places you can use this thing.

Pros: How am I going to fill up the required number of words with this review as the device just works and is brilliant so what else can you say. The light is very bright. Mount suits a door. Easily unclips to replace batteries. Night switch on only works properly.

Cons: None to think of as it just does all it boasts about. Someone once unclipped it thinking it was a front door bell switch ;)

Other: Get one for each door, you know you need to.

Pros: original using - key-hole lighting But I am using it for night lighting of small corridor in house. No new cables needed, no "mouting mess"... light enough for wolking throw corridor... Screw mouting possible (no screws are included), but included pice of tape is good enough. Right now is light taped on wood and on the iron for more than months and still holds :) Just I bought two more pieces for next places and I am thinking about some more pieces :)

Pros: Really smart to put in your drawers, cabinets of all kind, the glove compartment of your car and besides keyholes and other places you need extra light.

Cons: The on off switch should be accessible without having to remove it from the mounting plate. Some of these, (i have a bunch of them), are very slow to turn on. Some doesnt light up again for several seconds when there is continous movement in front of them. They dont all behave in the same way, some light up easy, some need a lot of movement to fire up. They dont stay on for the same time. Some is on 5 seconds, some is on 7, some is on 10.....

Other: Incridibly smart gizmo. Usefull on all kinds of places, drawers, keyholes, cabinets, glove compartment in your car, uses is endless....
