Pros: It has auto off function and easy to use. The wires can be kept inside the box..
Cons: Reading a bit out by 0.4-0.5 v. Instruction manual in chinese
Other: It operates on 2 AAA size battery which comes with it. Good to have item for your home..
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The leads store in the case and the cover protects the display when closed. I found the accuracy to be better than the previous reviewer. The auto off function will help with battery longevity and the use of common AAA batteries is a plus.
Cons: The instructions are in Chinese, which is ok since I know how to use a multimeter. HOWEVER, there looks to be an addendum to the manual included along with a spare resistor... I have no clue what I'm supposed to do with this resistor (field modify the meter???)
Other: This is a nice pocket multimeter to keep handy.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nice and compact multimeter, comes in convenient case that also stores the leads. Appears to be quite accurate and works great. Battries were included! Great value for the money.
Cons: Manual is in Chinese (but if you know how to use a digital meter, you'll be fine) and it comes with a 'mystery' resistor on a piece of paper - also in Chinese. Build quality is ok for the workbench, but not suitable for rough 'in-field' use.
Other: If you're looking for a cheap multimeter with auto range and a compact form factor, go get it! If you're planning on using the meter in the field, you may want to look for something more sturdy.

Pros: Great handy little meter for travel. Very small, but still has all the most used functions. Auto off is very handy. Continuity beep is nice and loud. Autorange is handy too.
Cons: None
Other: Great value handy meter
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very compact (Great in bag for student ;) ) Good result Autorange Use standart battery
Cons: instruction in japanese (or chinese?)
Other: Buy it if you want a good compact multimeter
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Cheap. - Autorange. - Case conseals leads. (See cons.)
Cons: - Fuse soldered directly to positive lead. (I.e. no fuse holder/socket.)
- Cheap build. Sometimes when I open the protective case the bottom half almost gets loose of "the actual" frame of the device. Only the battery case lid is tightened with a screw, otherwise the case is only snapt in place.
- Case conseals leads. You must pack the leads or you cannot close the protective case.
Other: You get what you pay for.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Compact: The box closes all it sturdy. Auto off: If you leave it inactive it stops, that's useful. Autorange: This is the only multimeter I ever had, but I think it would be awful to have to set the range by hand. The dial doesn't feel cheap.
Cons: The place for storing the red and black poles with the cables is a bit little. It could be easier to recoger
Chinese instructions. Anyway it's like any other multimeter.
The two small buttons (for manual range setting and other things) feel a bit cheap and hard to push, not like the dial, which is good.
Other: I don't regret have bought it. The use I'm giving it is very ocasional, as I'm very far from an electronic guru. Just for finding out if a battery is dead or if the problem with a electronic device is on the power supply or anywhere else.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Very compact and easy to use;
-Just set the dial and wait the results.
-the cables storing is in the box, making it more compact and organized.
-Auto off - turns off automatic if you don`t use it - making tou save your batteries.
-Autorange is very usefull for home users.
-Very cheap.
-Large numbers on lcd.
Cons: -the cables could be a little longer, but`s ok.
Other: If you need a multimeter to use at home or small office, buy it! It`s small and easy to use! I`m very satisfied with it!

Pros: This is a good value meter. I am an industrial electrician and use this meter at work. It is not suitable for 3 phase measurements on a 230/400v system, but does everything else well. Takes aaa batterys not button size - an advantage for me.
Cons: The leads soon gave up under heavy use, so I soldered some good quality ones I had spare.
Other: Fits in a small space and works well.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The meter is small and has the cover attached to it. It is easy to carry with you in a pocket. The switch works good and the meter is reasonably accurate. It uses AAA batteries, much better than a 9 volt battery because those are always to weak when I want to use them.
Cons: The plastic casing is not bad but, it is not very sturdy. And yes, the leads are rather short.
Other: Overall, very good value for money. Very nice to use as 'stand-by' multi-meter.
