Bimetalic Spring Barbeque Grill Thermometer Stick

Pros: Really easy to use. Just stick it in the meat. There is a guide on the back of the packaging telling you hot hot different meats should be. Pretty acurate - and adjusts to temperature pretty fast. Also works to test temp. of liquids. I bought it to use to test the temp in a still I hope to build one day.

Cons: Threw the packaging away and now don't know the 'correct' meat temps... nevermind, but could be printed on a plastic card/fridge magnet? Not an issue though.

Other: Interesting bit of kit for a cook / amature destiller /back yard scientist

Pros: - Works great - Build quality is good enough - Price is great, but this is not a big surprise - Has a variety of practical uses; see below
- According to the package labeling, it is adjustable by turning the nut under the head

Cons: I thought that the upper cover will be glass; but to be honest, I have a thing about dropping kitchen tools on the floor, and this plastic said to be shatterproof. So eventually this is not a drawback at all.

Other: I had no success finding similar thermometer locally for months, so I'm really happy with this product.

Pros: It has a wide range of temperatures, so you can check your fridge and freezer temps with it, as well as testing water/meat temps. It is quite small and handy, tough as well, but still easy to read. The cover is handy too, stops it rolling around (problem with my old one, it rolled off the bench...)

Cons: Doesn't have the temps for different meats/levels of cooking like my other one does (although there is a big list on the packet).

Other: Very handy for cooking to make sure your meat is at the right level of "doneness"

Pros: - quality stainless steel construction - it's accurate and easy to use - wide measure range, mine is from -10 to 110 °C - includes handy case with pen-clip - a lot of possible practical uses

Cons: None, It's perfect for my needs.

Other: Nothing more to say... If you need a thermometer for any purpose, especially for water or food temp measure, then buy this one.

Pros: I bought this to maintain under control the themperature of the soil inside a flower pot. It works fine and I can have an idea of my garden temperature. Can be calibrated (but I didn't try) It has a pen-style cover

Cons: The price is a bit high. I needed about 10 of them but I will wait some more time. I used it for a different purpose other than the one this product is intended for. It still works fine.

Other: It is OK. the price is not that good for my purpose but perfect for its own purpose.

Pros: I use this for work to check the doneness of food stuffs and can honestly say this item performs as well as other $50 units I have used. You will see people complain about how long it takes to give an acurate reading but I can tell you that even the most expensive of these will take almost the same time.
I have used this a few times and it is accurate and pretty hardwearing for the price

Other: Buy one, they are excellent to make sure you are cooking in safe temp ranges when cooking potentially dangerous foods items such as chicken and turkey

Pros: very robust, works correct, showing exact temperature level (checked with another thermometer), simple design makes it pretty reliable, no battery needed, comes with the protection tube for the probe.

Cons: A bit small dial - diameter ca 2,5 cm

Other: Mine come with temperature range indication from -10 centigrades to + 110, I'm not sure is random since photos show different one. In my case is better for me the one I received

Pros: It is very exact thermometer. I checked it at ice thawing (0 degrees) and a water boiling (100 degrees) - it always showed reference temperature.
It is pleasant to me that at it the small sizes and an accurate dial. And no batteries!

Cons: This thermometer doesn't have lacks - just use it accordingly!

Other: When I have inserted this thermometer into a thermos stopper, I have ceased to open a stopper for temperature check. Now simply enough to look!

Pros: - works nice and fast (you can read exact temperature in 10 seconds) - good temperature range (mine came from -10 to 110 C degrees) - looks sturdy, whole body except cover is made from metal (so it can be easily cleaned after use)

Cons: - i dont see any - I had to wait more than month for it, DX should work on postage times!

Other: - nice and cheap thermometer, that should be in every kitchen

Pros: - Accurate - Reacts to temperature changes fast - Comes with plastic red cover - Good build quality

Other: Don't hesitate to buy it for use with coffee machines, great quality for the price. Better than my expectations at this price
