Pros: good christmas presant to get the other half, or good for anythign really. i got some decent range off these, and the blue light is sort of a bonus really. the PTT button on the front is useful if your using it with kids as some on the side are harder to press in

Pros: Everything about these petite objects scores top marks. The design is sleek. Colour, build, ease of use and most importantly, the price is right. The free shipping is great and the delivery time is also great.

Cons: None. I like tight fitting battery compartments - stops them from breaking easily.

Pros: - Excellent range... I have tested more than 1km with some buildings in the middle. It probably is at least 5km line-of-sight. - Nice design, small, solid - It even has a blue led "flashlight" - Good volume and sound

Cons: - Automatic Squelch is a disadvantage in case the noise floor/interferences is too high. Some sort of adjustment or levels would have been much better. - Minimun volume is so loud that it doesnt make many sense to set it higher. its ok, but some lower volume settings would be useful.

Other: Great value for the price. I havent tested the other ones DX has, but I dont think they can be much better.

Pros: The radio transmitter seems to be a quite nice product. The price is reazonable, the distance it works is high: five kilometers but of course it there are many buildings or obstacles, the working distance reduces very much. But this is normal.
The clip for hanging it on the belt semms strong enough, and also may be removed if necessary.
The radio automatically swich on low consumption mode after four seconds, and while is in this state keeps receiving.

Cons: I think that would be very usefull if deal extreme would sell also the charger for the bacteries, that is a foreseen optional that is not on sell by deal extreme.

Other: I think that is a very good object for its price. Of course is not for professional use, but is a wonderful toy for children, and may be of some utility also for adults!

Pros: Fairly cheap and fairly easy to use. Surprisingly decent sound quality and range.
Reasonably robust - will take the odd knock without complaining.

Cons: I bought 2 x 2 units. Both pairs worked, but not together - contrary to what other people have indicated. One unit drains the batteries quickly whether on or off.

Other: Cheep and Cheerful - if they work.

Pros: Good range. About 1 km in urban. Good sound quality, until you not in noisy enviroment.
Compatible to all FRS radios, and surely to other pair(s) of the same device. (We have about 10 pairs). About 20 hours with fully charged SKU.10730 (relatively active communications)

Cons: When you in noisy enviroment (car/jeep) the microphone is too weak. You need keep it near to mouth and speak c-l-e-a-r. Battery indicator is not working. We use it with SKU.10730 It shows "full" everytime, until device is dead. Belt clip is easy to break

Other: Great FRS device for this price.

Pros: very cheap, facil deusar son muy compactos y no ocupan nada de espacio, son muy manejables y practicos los he probado en edificios cerrados y respondes bastante bien a una distancia de 400metros, tambien los he probado en campo abierto en montaña y funcionan a una distancia de 2 kilometros estoy esperando la posibilidad de usarlos a más distancia para ver cual es el rendimiento

Other: good item, muy recomendable para un usuario que lo utilice para cosas sencilla y no a nivel profesional

Pros: really good range. the sound is verry good and have try it with building, and it's still working on 3 KM. I use it for a geocaching, and everyone love it. the small light is verry usable. my children like it two.

Cons: it's not so good for on the road.it doesn't work on my motorcycle. only in the city, not on the highway.

Other: maby it's possible to make it a little cheaper.
