Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Price is relatively cheap. Looks good with the camera. Gives better balance for bigger lenses bigger lenses. More mass = steadiness
Cons: Grip is too big and bulky. Position changes too much when changing from standard to vertical grip.
Other: It doubles the battery life and and provides better ergonomics for shooting upright photos. If you have 60D you should also have this. It's very useful products.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Really good buildquality.
All controlls work like a charm and the same quality feel as the original batterygrip.
Batteryinformation in the cameradisplay works perfectly.
Cons: Maybe a bit plastic battery tray, compared to BG-E9
Other: If you looking for att larger grip or take a lot of portrait photos, this produkt is for you. Works perfect with your Canon 60D and with makes a good balance even with a large lens like 70-200 2,8.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Is as described. Fitting was easy and matched well with camera Two battery trays one for LP's and 1 for AA's Both batteries are recognized by the 60D battery software All controls function as expected except position of vertical controls has been hard to get used to
Cons: Clip on bazttery tray is a little in accurate in engaing and some what flimsy
Other: Would recommend it with the cavet that the battery tray catch is a little flimsy. Price is certainly right when compared to the Original Canon unit which is far more expensive

Pros: This grip is solid. It feels great in the hand and the grippy part is excellent. The buttons feel solid and have a good springy response.
The grip fits well on the 60D and won't come off by accident.
Cons: While putting the grip back on my camera I accidentally over tightened the grip and sheered the tightening dial from the gears. This prevented me from taking the grip off of the camera.
After leaving it on for three months, I finally had enough and had to tear the grip apart in order to free my camera. No damage was done to the camera.
Other: The grip is great. After tearing it part I was impressed by how well it was built. I won't say I got a lemon, but rather it's my fault for over tightening the dial.
I'd still recommend the grip, just make sure not to over tighten it while putting it on.
The three months I used it, it worked great.

Pros: This is a great grip for the price.
The construction is solid for a third party grip.
It fits snuggly on the camera and stays on.
The grippy parts of the grip is actually better then whats on the 60D.
The buttons are springy and feel solid.
Cons: There really aren't any cons. You get what you pay for and in this case you get your monies worth.
Other: If your looking for a vertical grip this is the one to buy. The internal design and construction is quite impressive.
The fact that it comes with AA battery insert and a ion battery insert makes it worth the money. backup power is always a good thing.

Pros: First of all, I'd love to say that I really love this grip. It is superb quality, all of the buttons work as they should and it makes the camera more solid and easy to grip.
Cons: The only con I've had with it is that infrequently my jog dial on top of the camera will not work, but the problem goes away if you clean the ends on the grip.
Other: Excellent purchase, don't even think about buying a canon grip. For ~$50, this grip will help you take better
shots aswell as increase your battery life.
I can also confirm that the camera will work with only one battery in the grip, so for those who only have one LP-E6 battery, it will still work.

Pros: The grip is solid - good build quality - all of the buttons work as they should and it makes the camera more solid and easy to grip
the price is also great with about 4x less than the official Canon grip
Cons: - my EOS 60D camera does not power on when using the 6 AA batteries insert
- my EOS 60D camera does not power on when using 1 battery (official one) in the right side of battery magazine
maybe the grip is defect ?
Other: -
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Good price - Good use of materials - The battery information menu show battery position, level percent and shutter count (only with the genuine Canon LP-E6 battery) - Very comfortable to using it
Cons: - The printed letters and icons are too big - The main plate is plastic where the genuine BG-E9 is metal - The rotation of the dial wheel is cumbersome - Top of the grip slightly wider than the bottom of the camera
Other: This is a very good battery grip for this price!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This battery grip is really good. It feels quite solid and attaches well to the camera. The color and material seems quite good and mix well with the camera. The holder where you put the batteries is easy enough to change and it allows you to use both the original batteries or rechargeable AAA batteries. Way cheaper than the original one and it does feel nice.
Cons: The buttons feel slightly cheap, but they do work well. It's just that it doesn't have the very same feeling as the buttons from the camera.
Other: Very nice product. I don't use it quite frequently because my 60D with a 70-200 lens is heavy enough without any attachments. But if you are covering an event and don't want to waste time switching batteries (yea, that's when the best shots always show up) this toy is the way to go.
